Due to its unique location, you walk straight into the forest where you can walk for hours on the Tienraijse/Swolgenderheide and in the beautiful nature reserve 'Het Schuitwater'. From a short circuit to an extensive walking route, it is possible directly from the house.
Huize Jet is located a short distance from the recreational area 'De Maasduinen'. Numerous walking and cycling routes have been set out in De Maasduinen, taking you past the most beautiful places. The cozy village centers make walks or bike rides unforgettable.
'Het Pieterpad' is also only 300 meters away from Huize Jet. The Pieterpad is the most famous long-distance walking route in the Netherlands. The route runs from Pieterburen on the Groningen Wadden coast to the Sint-Pietersberg near Maastricht and has a length of 492 kilometers, divided into 26 stages. On the Pieterpad route, Swolgen is the resting place between the Vierlingsbeek and Venlo stages.
So walking and cycling enthusiasts will certainly get their money's worth in this area!

From Huize Jet you can make nice trips to cities such as Horst, Venlo, Venray or Roermond (outlet shopping). Or visit one of the many tourist attractions in the area such as Mind Mystery (Horst), Aardbeienland (Horst), Toverland (Sevenum), Castle Gardens (Arcen), Thermaalbad (Arcen), Brouwerij Hertog Jan (Arcen), Zooparc ( Overloon) or Irrland (Kevelaer D.).
The town of Swolgen is located close to Horst in North Limburg. Huize Jet is easily accessible via the A-73 between Nijmegen and Venlo. Huize Jet has sufficient parking for several cars. The nearest train stations are in Venray, Venlo and Horst (Horst-Sevenum). There are regular buses between Venray and Venlo that pass through the center of Swolgen.
Pets are not welcome, smoking is not allowed in the house.
