Due to its unique location, you can walk straight into the forest where you can walk for hours on the Tienraijse/Swolgenderheide and in the beautiful nature reserve 'Het Schuitwater'. From a small tour to an extensive walking route, it is possible directly from the house.
Huize Jet is a short distance from the recreation area 'De Maasduinen'. Numerous walking and cycling routes have been set out in De Maasduinen, which take you past the most beautiful places. The cosy village centres make walks or bike rides unforgettable.
'Het Pieterpad' is also only 300 meters away from Huize Jet. The Pieterpad is the most famous long-distance walking route in the Netherlands. The route leads from Pieterburen on the Groningen Wadden coast to the Sint-Pietersberg near Maastricht and has a length of 492 kilometers, divided into 26 stages. On the route of Het Pieterpad, Swolgen is the resting place between the stages of Vierlingsbeek and Venlo.
So hiking and cycling enthusiasts will certainly get their money's worth in this area!

From Huize Jet you can make nice trips to cities such as Horst, Venlo, Venray or Roermond (outlet shopping). Or visit one of the many tourist attractions in the area such as Mind Mystery (Horst), Strawberry Land (Horst), Toverland (Sevenum), Castle Gardens (Arcen), Thermal Bath (Arcen), Brewery Hertog Jan (Arcen), Zooparc (Overloon) or Irrland (Kevelaer D.).
The town of Swolgen is located near Horst in North Limburg. Huize Jet is easily accessible via the A-73 between Nijmegen and Venlo. At Huize Jet there is sufficient parking space for several cars. The nearest train stations can be found in Venray, Venlo and Horst (Horst-Sevenum). There are regular buses between Venray and Venlo that pass through the center of Swolgen.
Pets are not welcome, smoking is not allowed in the house.
