If you are looking for a welcome quiet base for your holiday or weekend away, then you have come to the right place.

Like our other holiday homes ("Sjun Limburg", "Hemme", and "Asteri's Home"), we completely renovated "Leef Zuiden" in 2023. Everything in this house has been renewed (including the double masonry exterior walls). We have also completely fenced off the detached garden, so that the dogs can roam freely. We are amateur handymen and like to make a palace out of "nothing". A modern residence has been realized that meets all current requirements. The holiday home also meets 100% the sustainability criteria. The house is therefore fully insulated and can be heated almost without the use of fossil fuels due to the air conditioning in winter.

The living room is spacious. The dining table is also located there. In the open space behind is the complete kitchen. On the ground floor there is also a 2-person bedroom and a modern bathroom with a rain shower and double sink. We have also realized a separate toilet with sink on the ground floor.

We rent out our holiday bungalow, which is located in the green and wooded "Groenpark Simpelveld". In an oasis of peace you can completely relax with us. A big plus of this holiday home is the plot area of no less than 375 m2 including a spacious modern landscaped 100% fenced garden with lots of privacy. Also nice when you bring a pet. It is the largest enclosed garden in the park. We are located at the so-called gate of the Heuvelland in the southernmost tip of the province. This location allows you to go for a walk in our beautiful hills and/or to go out with your (electric) bicycle, mountain bike or racing bike and enjoy the many views.

In addition, you can visit cozy places such as Valkenburg, Maastricht, Heerlen or Aachen within a travel distance of 20-30 minutes. Lovers of shopping, visiting museums, having a drink on the terrace and enjoying culinary delights will get their money's worth. By the way, you can also be in Belgium within half an hour.

You don't have to travel far for day trips either: Gaia Zoo, Mondo Verde, Continium, Stoomtrein Simpelveld, drie-landen punt Vaals and the caves of Valkenburg, among others, can be reached within fifteen minutes.

For daily shopping you can go to the center of Simpelveld. This is about 700 meters from the park. The level of provision in the village is complete.

Our house is a 4-person bungalow that consists of 2 bedrooms, a living room with open kitchen, bathroom, separate toilet and garden house/storage room where there is also room for storing bicycles. There are three terraces so both sun and shade lovers will get their money's worth. What is also nice is that there is a private driveway. For guests who have difficulty walking, this cottage is therefore very suitable. Everything can take place on the ground floor. 

The bungalow is also equipped with new kitchen appliances: dishwasher, induction hob, convection oven and refrigerator. The own Ziggo connection provides a stable WiFi connection and good reception on the Smart Television.

The presence of an air conditioner keeps the indoor climate comfortable even in hot weather. In the cooler periods, it can also be used for heating.

We make sure on arrival that the house is super clean, the beds are made, bath linen, towels and tea towels are available. Furthermore, basic necessities such as dishwasher tablets, coffee and tea, garbage bags etc. are provided, so that you can fully enjoy a carefree stay.
