If you are looking for a welcome quiet base for your holiday or weekend away, then you have come to the right place.
Just like our other holiday homes at the park (and on this platform), "Sjun Limburg" (2022), "Leef Zuiden" (2023) and "Hemme Limburg" (2025), we have completely renovated "Asteri's Home (2026). We completed this renovation in May 2026.
Everything in this house has also been renewed and it has honestly become a picture. We have moved and renewed the kitchen and this has given the house a much more open character. We are amateur handymen and like to make a palace out of "nothing". A modern residence has been realized that meets all current requirements. The holiday home also meets 100% of all sustainability criteria. The house is therefore very well insulated and can be heated by the air conditioning (if desired) in the winter almost without the use of fossil fuels. Of course, this air conditioner ensures that the house stays cool in the summer.
The living room is spacious. The dining table is also located there. In the open space behind is the complete kitchen. On the ground floor there is also a 2-person bedroom and bathroom with shower and toilet.
This house is suitable for 1-4 people and consists of a spacious living room with open kitchen, a double bedroom (ground floor and 1st floor) and bathroom (ground floor). At the back is a spacious terrace with fenced garden. From the terrace you have a beautiful and unobstructed view and it is also nice and quiet. For guests who have difficulty walking (everything can take place on the ground floor) and/or like pets (fully fenced garden), this house is also very suitable.
The bungalow is also equipped with new kitchen appliances: dishwasher, induction hob, Nespresso coffee machine, convection oven and a refrigerator. The own Ziggo connection provides a stable WiFi connection and good reception on the Smart Television. The presence of an air conditioner keeps the indoor climate in the entire house comfortable even in hot weather. In the cooler period, it can also be used to heat the house quickly. Pets are also very welcome.
We make sure on arrival that the house is super clean, the beds are made, there are plenty of towels available and towels and tea towels are also available in the kitchen. Furthermore, basic necessities such as dishwasher tablets, coffee and tea, garbage bags etc. are provided, so that you can fully enjoy a carefree stay. We rent out our holiday bungalow, which is located in the green and wooded "Groenpark Simpelveld". In an oasis of peace you can completely relax with us. A big plus of this holiday home is the plot area of over 300 m2. We are located at the so-called gate of the Heuvelland in the southernmost tip of the province. This location allows you to go for a walk in our beautiful hills and/or to go out with your (electric) bicycle, mountain bike or racing bike and enjoy the many views.
In addition, you can reach within a travel distance of 20-30 min. visit cozy places such as Valkenburg, Maastricht, Heerlen or Aachen. Lovers of shopping, visiting museums, having a drink on the terrace and enjoying culinary delights will get their money's worth. By the way, you can also be in Belgium within half an hour.
You don't have to travel far for day trips either: Gaia Zoo, the indoor ski slope in Landgraaf, Mondo Verde, Continium, Stoomtrein Simpelveld, three-country point Vaals and the caves of Valkenburg, among others, can be reached within fifteen minutes.
For daily shopping you can go to the center of Simpelveld. This is about 700 meters from the park. The level of provision in the village is complete.
