Holiday house

Those who want to enjoy the comfort and conveniences of a complete holiday home can book the entire guesthouse with 100 m2 of living space, suitable for four to five people.

The holiday home has a well-equipped kitchen and its own entrance with terrace and shared garden. A long stay is at least three nights. The accommodation costs depend on the length of the stay and the season. The rates include bed, bath and kitchen linen, energy, final cleaning, internet
and VAT.

We do our best to please our guests and to offer sustainable quality. Due to insulation, solar panels and heat pump, there is zero on the meter. And we leave the Groningen gas in the ground.

And from your comfortable home base you can explore the village and its surroundings. Ezinge is located between the mudflats and the city. Walking, cycling, touring. Discover colorful salt marshes, climb silent mounds, walk past characteristic houses where you can recognize the red monastery jokes in the masonry.
Take a day trip to Schier. You can park in Lauwersoog in 20 minutes by car and the veebot will be waiting for you. A day of walking or cycling, which you can rent upon arrival, and the Wadden Island will welcome you with open hands and a breath of fresh air. Swimming in the North Sea or in the dune pass in the middle of the island is both possible. You can pick up mussels on the mudflats, enjoy the views and the dynamics of the ebb and flow. And if you are ready for the big city, you can be on the edge of the bustling city of Groningen in 20 minutes. There you will find a wide and original range of shops, numerous surprising museums, churches and cultural sights and of course you can visit the Forum.

It started with another weekend of cycling in Groningen. We started in the ancient village of Ezinge, about eighteen kilometers from the nicest city center of the Netherlands: Groningen. And from 2020 also nine cycling kilometers from the most beautiful village in the Netherlands: Winsum. The house that was for sale at the beginning of our cycling route captured our hearts. That trip through the Reitdiepdal and the Hogeland was unforgettable. Our guests have been finding and appreciating our holiday home since 2006.
