It started with another weekend of cycling in Groningen. We started in the ancient village of Ezinge, about eighteen kilometers from the nicest city center of the Netherlands: Groningen. And from 2020 also nine cycling kilometers from the most beautiful village in the Netherlands: Winsum. The house that was for sale at the beginning of our cycling route captured our hearts. That trip through the Reitdiepdal and the Hogeland was unforgettable.
Now we smile when we notice that our guests choose that same house as the starting point for their treks. When they discover that the Martinitoren in the city of Groningen really is the highest point in the province, and nearby beautiful villages with names such as Garnwerd, Niehove and Winsum.
We do our best to please our guests and to offer sustainable quality. Due to insulation, solar panels and heat pump, there is zero on the meter. And we leave the Groningen gas in the ground.
