For lovers of luxury and tranquility, Aquadomum will be the unique 'holiday home'. The location is especially suitable for a cozy and casual get-together. Aquadomum is located on a quiet dirt road in an area with forests and meadows. The area is ideal for fine walks and beautiful bike rides. With its winding streams, castles and farms, estates and ancient trees, the Achterhoek is a paradise to unwind.
The Achterhoek is also suitable for being active. You walk on sandy or church paths. The cycle path with a junction route is next to Aquadomum. There is also the MTB route Zelhem.

Every Saturday afternoon from 13:00 to 16:30, the local motorcycle club Halmac holds a training that is free of charge for everyone. Nice to watch, a real Achterhoek experience. In 2026 there will be 3 matches in the weekends of.. If you would like to rent our house during this weekend, this is possible. We will then provide some free tickets for the match.
The complex is sustainably built, energy-neutral and integrated into the earth's surface. It has a living area of 320 m², spread over two floors, namely: the ground floor and the basement.
The living room is located on the ground floor and has 12 large windows, below the water level of the pond. As a result, you can admire the marine life from the living room. The house stands on a fenced plot of 3.5 hectares with a lawn, a natural pond and a private forest. A walking path of more than a kilometer runs through the forest. There are a few fallow deer on the plot. At the moments when they feel unobserved, you can observe them.
Privacy, luxury and space are guaranteed. The house is hidden in the greenery in the countryside between Zelhem, Halle, Ruurlo and Hengelo and belongs to the municipality of Bronckhorst.
Aquadomum offers accommodation for up to 10 people. You can stay there with 12 people if you book the Treehouse. There are 2 large bedrooms which can both accommodate 4 people and there is a bedroom for 2 people. In addition, there is a cot, including mattress and accessories. All bedrooms have good (box spring) beds including linen. One of the bedrooms has its own bathroom with steam cabin and washbasin. The luxurious bathroom on the ground floor has a bath, shower with sun shower (infrared and solar panel), toilet/bidet, and a washbasin. You will also find a sauna and another 2 separate toilets on the ground floor. The washing machine is located in the utility room and there are drying options. There is an extra refrigerator and storage spaces.
The large L-shaped living room with open kitchen has an area of 75m². The seating area has 2 sofas and a TV. You can also watch TV on a large cinema screen. There is also a separate seating area with a wood stove and 2 relax armchairs. A large tree trunk table offers enough space to sit together with 12 people or eat together. A high chair is available.
The very complete kitchen has a cooking island, induction hob, oven/microwave, filter coffee maker, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and plenty of pans and crockery. On the room side of the kitchen it is possible to sit on stools at the bar.
In the hall you will find a cupboard with games. There is also a table tennis table, a football table, a shuffleboard and other games.
The terrace is equipped with garden furniture.
The fire pit (located slightly from the house) is a nice place to light a delicious fire and, for example, bake sandwiches, barbecue or roast marshmallows.
There is parking space for your own cars.
Spending the night in a tree house in the middle of the forest is a nature experience
In the forest next to our house Aquadomum there is a Tree House. You can use this for a small additional fee if you rent Aquadomum. In a cozy hut, 3 meters above the ground, we sleep among the birds, squirrels, fallow deer and other animals. In the tree house you have the peace and space for yourself. Through the windows located in all directions you have a fantastic view of the forest. A unique opportunity to observe the animals.
This cozy tree house is suitable for 2 people to spend the night. The tree house is equipped with 2 single beds, table and chair. For the colder days there is a heater inside. There is also a toilet under the tree house.
You must bring your own sleeping bags and pillows and a flashlight is also desirable. You can also use the facilities in the house.
