Aquadomum

For lovers of luxury and tranquility, Aquadomum will be the unique 'holiday home'. The location is especially suitable for a cozy and casual get-together. Aquadomum is located on a quiet dirt road in an area with forests and meadows. The area is ideal for nice walks and beautiful bike rides. With its winding streams, castles and farms, estates and ancient trees, the Achterhoek is a paradise to relax.
But the Achterhoek is also very suitable for being active. You walk on sandy or church paths. As a cyclist, feel free in the green surroundings. The cycle path with a junction route is located next to Aquadomum. The Zelhem MTB route is also located there. There are also other sporting options in the area: golf, a climbing forest, a cable water ski track and mountain biking in the Bergherbos.
Art and culture can be found at the More museum, Lalique museum, Hanseatic cities of Zutphen and Doesburg, the Gallery of vintage cars and the fire brigade museum.
There is also plenty to experience from a culinary perspective: De Heeren van Wolfersveen, Jaimy's steakhouse, Eeterij and Tapperij De Smoks, Eetcafe De Groes in Zelhem. But there are also plenty of options in the area to go out for dinner, such as De Heikamp in Ruurlo for a delicious pancake and a walk.

Every Saturday afternoon from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM, the local motorcycle club Halmac holds a training session that is free for everyone. Nice to look at, a real Achterhoek experience.
In 2024 there will be competitions on the weekends of June 23 and 30 and in September. These are the provisional dates according to the Halmac Halle. The Sundays in question are currently blocked. If you would like to rent our house this weekend, this is possible. We will then provide some free tickets for the match.

The complex is sustainably built, energy neutral and integrated into the earth's surface. It has a living area of 320 m², spread over two floors, namely: the ground floor and the basement.

The living room is located on the ground floor and has 12 large windows, below the water level of the pond. This allows you to admire the underwater life from the living room.
The house is located on a fenced plot of 3.5 hectares with a lawn, a natural pond and a private forest. A hiking trail of more than a kilometer runs through the forest. There is also a gazebo along the path. Some fallow deer roam around on the plot. You can observe them at times when they feel unwatched. Wonderful (forest) walks can be taken directly from the house.

Privacy, luxury and space are guaranteed. The house is hidden in the green in the countryside between Zelhem, Halle, Ruurlo and Hengelo and belongs to the municipality of Bronckhorst.

Aquadomum offers overnight accommodation for up to 10 people. There are 2 large bedrooms, both suitable for 4 people, and there is a bedroom for 2 people. There is also a cot available, including a mattress and accessories. All bedrooms have good (box spring) beds including linen. One of the bedrooms has a private bathroom with steam cabin and washbasin. The luxurious bathroom on the ground floor has a bath, shower with sun shower (infrared and solar panel), toilet/bidet, and a washbasin. You will also find a sauna and another 2 separate toilets on the ground floor. The washing machine and drying options are available in the utility room. There is an extra refrigerator and storage spaces.

The large L-shaped living room with open kitchen has an area of 75 m². The seating area has 2 sofas and a TV. You can also watch TV on a large cinema screen. There is also a separate seating area with a wood stove and 2 relax armchairs. A large tree trunk table offers enough space for 12 people to sit together or eat together. A highchair is available.
The very complete kitchen has a cooking island, induction hob, oven/microwave, filter coffee maker, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and sufficient pans and crockery. On the room side of the kitchen it is possible to sit on stools at the bar.

In the hall you will find a cupboard with games and magazines.
There is also a table tennis table, a football table, a shuffleboard table and other games.

The terrace is equipped with garden furniture.
The fire pit (located a little from the house) is a nice place to light a lovely fire and, for example, bake sandwiches, have a barbecue or roast marshmallows.

There is sufficient parking space for your own cars.

We clean ourselves! This way we can be sure that everything has been taken care of down to the last detail.

This property is not rented to groups of young people under the age of 25.

You must bring your own bath and kitchen towels.

No pets.
