Our detached house (72 m2) is located in a beautiful nature reserve on approximately 1200 m2 of private (forest) land.
The (fenced) garden is free and sheltered, surrounded by rhododendrons and with space for both sun and shade.
From the garden or looking from the window you can quietly enjoy a wide diversity of birds. Squirrels are also regularly seen guests.
The bungalow has a partly retro design but is equipped with modern comfort.
There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with a double bed (1x Auping).
The kitchen is fully equipped and modern, the bathroom was recently renovated (2022) and the bungalow was also recently (2022) equipped with an energy-efficient central heating boiler, new radiators and good insulation.
From the bungalow you walk directly into the forest.
Furthermore, Korenburgerveen, a beautiful nature reserve and walking area, is within walking distance, approximately 500 m. We have been able to spot cranes here several times.
The 'trimbos' with various play and sports equipment can also be found within walking distance.
Winterswijk itself is very pleasant with the weekly large market, beautiful streets with a wide range of nice shops, restaurants, terraces, museums and always various activities (see VVV Winterswijk).
For entertainment on or on the water, there is the recreational lake 't Hilgerlo, the 1930s-style open-air swimming pool called Strandbad and the Jaspers indoor swimming pool.
