Experience nature, indoors and outdoors, in a modern 4-person holiday home with wellness, located in the surprising rural area of the Achterhoek. In Holiday Home De Boschkerhook you can enjoy the comfort of your holiday home all year round. Relax and indulge your senses. On the edge of forest and field, birds, pheasants, squirrels and deer can be spotted and heard up close. You can start a walk or bike ride right from the garden! After an active day , you can relax in the Finnish sauna, with refreshing outdoor shower, to further relax on one of the 2 terraces with a view. The house is fully equipped, with an eye for sustainability. For example, the house is sustainably heated and cooled with a heat pump, and a charging station is available for your electric car. In addition to the bathroom with walk-in shower, a separate toilet is available. The kitchen is equipped with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and freezer, and a filter coffee and dolce gusto machine are available. Wi-Fi is available throughout, and there is a smart TV in the seating area. Next to the house is a multifunctional shed, which is equipped with a sauna, an extra toilet and shower, which also serves as a bicycle shed. The house is smoke and pet free.

Holiday home De Boschkerhook is located in the province of Gelderland, in the outskirts of the town of Vragender. The holiday home is located on the edge of the Vragenderveen nature reserve. This unique peat bog area has been successfully managed by the Marke Vragender Veen Foundation for 65 years. One of the hiking trails gives you a small glimpse, and excursions are also available to enter the protected natural area. Numerous junction cycle routes are available in the area. These lead you to, for example, the picturesque fortified towns of Groenlo or Bredevoort, and lead through the beautiful border area with Germany. The village of Vragender is adorned by flour mill De Vier Winden, and cozy restaurants are available. Vragender is located in the beautiful Achterhoek. The region is characterized by the scenic landscape, with alternating meadows, hedgerows, streams, forests and dirt roads. Scattered are idyllic villages, with castles and museums. You will feel right at home with the friendliness, down-to-earthness and hospitality of the Achterhoek.

Hi there! My name is Corine, and together with my husband Bram we rent out holiday home De Boschkerhook. A place we are very proud of! :) After a year of odd jobs, we were ready to share this beautiful place in the summer of 2023. If you like nature and tranquility, then you've come to the right place. Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

We have the following cancellation policy:

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:
If cancelled within 24 hours of the booking being approved, you will be entitled to a full refund of the booking amount. Have you emailed but not yet received a response? Don't worry, we take the moment you send the e-mail to us as the cancellation date.
In case of cancellation up to the 42nd day before the start of the stay, the cancellation costs are 30% of the travel sum.
In case of cancellation from the 42nd to the 28th day before the start of the stay, the cancellation costs are 60% of the travel sum.
In case of cancellation from the 28th day to the first day of stay, the cancellation costs are 90% of the travel sum.
In case of cancellation on the first day of stay or later, the cancellation costs are 100% of the travel sum.
The travel sum concerns the basic rent plus all extra costs (excluding deposit).

Prices are based on 2 people, including bed linen.
€10 is charged per person per night.
Prices do not include a deposit of €150,-, which will be refunded if left tidy.
€50 is charged for the final cleaning. The house should be left broom clean, and the dishes should be clean and tidy.
