Bring your own: towels and tea towels, duvet and pillow covers, fitted sheets (2 mattresses 200 x 80)(1 x mattress topper 200 x 160). There are only single duvets.
Both arrivals and departures are via self-check-in/self-check-out. You can then decide for yourself what time your arrival will be. Instructions will be provided a few days before arrival.
Regular arrival time: from 15:00 & departure time: until 10:30.
Free use of the (indoor and outdoor) swimming pools of De IJsvogel (open from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm, usually open longer during school holidays, 8:00 pm).
Almost all facilities of De IJsvogel apply. The cottage is situated in a quiet corner on the Sophia Hoeve, this park part has its own entrance. At the main entrance are the facilities and is within walking distance.
On bungalow park Sophia Hoeve, part of holiday park De IJsvogel, on a spacious plot of 600m2, detached chalet, ground floor 50m2 + veranda 15m2 on a quiet area with beautiful views. The park has everything, for example free access to the swimming pools all year round. Paid: bowling alleys. The park is accessible 24/7 by car. Visits are allowed and do not cost anything extra. Voorthuizen is part of the municipality of Barneveld.
The chalet is located between Voorthuizen, Garderen and Stroe. It is a great place especially for those seeking peace and quiet. At the main entrance, everything is more vibrant, with for example the play areas, swimming pools, bowling alleys, snack bar, restaurant, etc. For walkers and cyclists, it is a nice central starting point, towards Apeldoorn through the woods and over the heath or towards Amersfoort along the many meadows. Nijkerk, Putten and Barneveld are also easy to cycle to. There are also museums in the vicinity.
