Our bright, single-storey lodge (renovated in 2024) offers everything for a carefree stay.
• The lodge has a bright living room with a large sliding door that seamlessly connects inside and outside. For the cozy evenings inside, there is a cupboard full of games, books, coloring books and pencils. Of course there is good WIFI and you can watch TV via NLziet or via your own streaming service such as Netflix.
• Healthy Cooking: Because we love healthy cooking ourselves, the kitchen is equipped with high-quality frying pans, a hand blender, toaster and a collection of inspiring cookbooks. Of course there is also a dishwasher, small combi oven, a L'or Barista machine and milk frother. The coffee cups and tea bags are already waiting for you!
• Sleep well: Relax on our comfortable box springs. The master bedroom has a generous bed of 180x200, the second room a bed of 160x200. Both rooms have night lamps and a wardrobe.
• Bathroom: Completely renovated in 2024 with a luxurious rain shower, toilet, sink and hair dryer.
• The luxury hot tub in the garden is at your disposal free of charge during your stay, without extra charges. Thanks to the high-quality bio-heater, you can quickly enjoy wonderfully warm water, without smoke nuisance.

Tip: Just don't forget to bring your own bath slippers for the garden!
Good to know: filling the hot tub takes about 1.5 hours. Heating the water then also takes about 1.5 hours (depending on the outside temperature). The hot tub is wonderful to use in light night frost, but keep in mind that it can unfortunately be out of use in severe frost due to the risk of freezing.
• The Garden: In our spacious and lovely garden you will find several comfortable seating areas, so you can always find a nice spot in the sun or shade. A brand new barbecue is ready for you for wonderful summer evenings outside.
• Sports & Game: Fancy some action? We've got a football, pétanque balls and table tennis bats ready for you to use on the park's sports fields and courts. And for those who prefer to curl up on the couch with a book afterwards: in the cupboard is a nice hot water bottle ready for an old-fashioned warm and comfortable evening.
Facilities at the Park & Surroundings
Our lodge is located in a wonderfully quiet part, at the back of Landgoed de IJsvogel in Voorthuizen. Due to this convenient location, you can enjoy optimal privacy and the silence of nature, while fine facilities — such as an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, bicycle rental and a catering facility — are within walking distance.
• Water fun: You have free access to the heated indoor swimming pool (open all year round) and the outdoor swimming pool with spray park. Both pools are about 25 degrees. The outdoor swimming pool and sun terrace are open from the Whitsun weekend to August (weather permitting).
• Entertainment: Enjoy the restaurant, snack bar or cosy bar. For the more active there are bowling alleys, (pool) billiards, miniature golf, sports fields, table tennis and a playground. There is an entertainment programme during the holidays.
• Electric charging: The park has a launderette, bicycle rental and charging stations for electric cars at the entrance.
• Nature: cross the road in front of the park and you are directly in the vast forests of the Veluwe.
