Around the house we vary as much as possible with plantings and flowers. Every moment something else blooms.
Our holiday home is centrally located in the Achterhoek. Ideal from there to discover this beautiful region on all sides
Our blooming herb garden is a feast for the insects. But we also hope that our guests enjoy it. There is a variety of herbs, including chives, sage, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, fennel, maggi, mint, tarragon, lemon verbena, garlic chives and oregano. Free to use.
The spacious living and dining room is attractively furnished. Be pleasantly surprised. An excellent Bose sound system is available: play our DVD/CDs or bring your own.
The kitchen is fully equipped: hob, extractor hood, oven/microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Furthermore, of course, the necessary pots and pans. We have decorated the kitchen the way we like it ourselves. There is of course always the alternative of eating out in Zelhem or somewhere else.
Unwind in this pleasant living room. There are two extra chairs for the dining area if desired.
The downstairs bedroom is directly adjacent to the bathroom. There are patio doors to the outside with separate terrace. Who wouldn't want to wake up with a view of greenery, right from your bed. An (extra high) Auping bed that is not only comfortable but also well (manually) adjustable.
Also from the bedroom upstairs a nice view over the green. Enjoy reading in bed? That's possible, handy Auping lights have been installed in the upstairs bedroom. And be surprised by the feeling of space due to the high ceiling!

Do you want to enjoy the peace and quiet but still have to work? On the first floor we have an excellent workplace with a (height) adjustable desktop and good WiFi. There are pleated curtains to allow more or less (sun)light.
There are two terraces. One is adjacent to the living room and one to the downstairs bedroom. This way you can play with sun and shade. There is now an awning on the terrace next to the bedroom (not yet in the photo). You can of course also use either lawn.
A handy shed that fits 4 bicycles and garden tools. There is space for 2 cars in the parking lot.

Be surprised by what grows and blooms in our garden every week. The birds and insects also enjoy it
We invite our guests to deposit the green waste (peels, coffee grounds, eggshells) in the compost bin.
There is much to do and discover in the area. Castles, museums, walking, cycling, wildlife spotting, vineyards, picturesque towns, and possibly. on Saturday afternoon motocross behind the park. For more information, see Tips from the landlord on this site.
Nearby, many local products are offered at roadside stalls.
Of course we can tell you that we think we have a nice holiday home in a beautiful environment, but even more credible is what our guests say about our house in the reviews on this site.

Already in spring you can enjoy a nice breakfast or lunch in the sun, with a calming view of the pond. Due to the high vegetation around the plot, you have sufficient privacy.
The bright living room is tastefully decorated, ideal for cozy evenings with family or friends by the crackling fire. You can purchase wood for this at the lobby.
The living room also has the magnificent view of the pond and the open space to the roof also provides a very open and special feeling.
Seeing the ducks and squirrels at the pond and on the terrace makes cooking in the spacious open kitchen even more fun. Dishwasher and all necessary appliances, as well as an extensive kitchen package with practical necessities are available!
Cozy dining, always with that great view of that pond!
Thanks to the terraces around the house, you can always enjoy the sun or the shade in any season.

The large windows at the entrance and at the top of the bedrooms immediately catch the eye on arrival! A brilliant find by the architect!
3 spacious parking spaces ensure that the vehicles can be parked safely and within your reach on the site. Peace is guaranteed here, because there is no through traffic at the house!
The bright entrance with practical shoe rack under the coat racks leads you to the living room, the bathroom, the 2 bedrooms downstairs, the toilet and the counter.
The well-kept, modern toilet on the ground floor, finished in the same style as the 2 bathrooms.
Relax in the spacious bath, with a soothing view of nature, but a refreshing shower is of course not to be missed! Shampoo, conditioner and shower gel are waiting for you.
You will sleep like a prince here and what storage space in this wall-to-wall mirror cabinet! On arrival you can find beds and towels made with us, if desired. That's nice luxury! This room, as well as the one in the next photo, are located on the ground floor.
Adults of course sleep well here, but the children are guaranteed to go crazy for these bunk beds! Also here is a handy wardrobe with hanging area and shelves.
Via the stairs you come from the living room to the landing, where there are 2 spacious bedrooms and a 2nd bathroom and toilet. For the safety of children this can be closed with a stair gate.
This way children can stay safely upstairs. The playpen can be placed downstairs as security for the stairs.
The largest bedroom is certainly generous. 2 more mattresses can easily be added on this floor. The floor covering is also laminate in all 4 bedrooms!
At the back of this largest room you will find the children's furniture. On the left there is another built-in cupboard with plenty of room for coat hangers. Handy!
Also in this spacious bedroom you really sleep like a baby. Here too you can surprise yourself through the large windows in the morning with a wonderful view of nature!
A private bathroom with toilet is definitely the icing on the cake on this floor!
The park has a separately paid wellness, where you will be optimally spoiled with sauna, solarium and even massage as a full option!

Fitness equipment is of course also not lacking in the wellness area. That is puffing, but with a guarantee of a sharp condition! That's what we go for ...
The well-kept park includes a free indoor swimming pool with a toddlers' pool. The little ones can enjoy playing around in the toddler pool, with a wonderful waterfall. The real swimmers among us will certainly enjoy unlimited laps in the large pool.
The park provides go-kart and bicycle rental. Fun and useful!
Children will certainly love such a mega inflatable! There is also a second playground with all kinds of equipment at the park!
A petanque court is of course not missing either! Drinks are available nearby, so that it can be cozy on a balmy summer afternoon or evening!
Be sure to hit a ball on the completely renovated tennis court!
With an E-chopper rented at the park you can discover the area in a relaxed and environmentally friendly way!
Charging points for electric cars have also been considered! They are located in the parking lot at the reception.
After 3 km cycling (straight ahead at junction 51, turn right at the next dirt road and right at T) you will discover the open-air swimming pool Molenallee in Loenen, with a shallow and toddler pool, a large slide, ...
... as well as a deep basin with springboard, running mat, 5000 m2 of sunbathing lawn, a bouncy castle, table tennis, basketball, beach soccer and volleyball, a sandpit and picnic tables. An ideal day trip!
Golf and Business Club De Scherpenbergh is 2 km away.
Be sure to take the steam train in the neighboring village of Lieren, great for young and old! Also visit the large number of historic steam locomotives in this museum station of the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij. The old railway line passes 300m from the park, so you can hear and see them regularly!!
Also great for young and old! At Klimbos Veluwe in Apeldoorn - 12 km away - you can choose from 10 climbing adventures, with approximately 90 different transitions, each with its own level of difficulty. With a ticket you can climb for 3.5 hours, including the 30 minutes compulsory instruction.
Climbing - but especially descending - in such a forest is always laughing, yelling, roaring! It is always safe, due to a continuous safety system, on all climbing routes.
Awesome adventure! Choose a climbing route yourself and determine how high you want to go. The routes are of increasing difficulty, with heights from 2 to no less than 18 meters. Bungee, free fall, zip wire, big nets, it's all there! The perfect day out! https://klimbos.nl/klimbos-veluwe/
Back with both feet on the ground! From our house you can walk or cycle straight into the forest. Miles of hiking and biking trails invite you to be discovered from dawn!
These will take you about 10 km south, for example at the wildlife observation point De Elsberg, between bicycle junction 95 and 73. Especially early in the morning (3/4 hours before sunrise!) or late at night, you can spot red deer from this unique location all year round. come and spot deer, wild boars and other game!
What a picture! From mid-September to early October you can hear 'the king of the forest' bellowing here during the rutting season. During showdowns, the sound of antlers clicking together can be heard far away! Rutting season for fallow deer: from mid-October to early November.
A little further, at the Posbank at bicycle junction 25, the flowering heather will certainly transport you even further at the end of August. You should definitely have seen this spectacular viewpoint!
As everywhere on the heathland, you can also take beautiful walks here at the Posbank. You can just run into the shepherd with his grazing flock of sheep here. Top!

A hidden gem with a fantastic panoramic view! You can discover it on the Zilvense heide, along a walking / mountain bike path, in bird's eye view somewhere between cycle junction 32 and 96. Who is looking for it!
Kootwijkerzand - the largest drifting sand area in Western Europe - is located 20 km to the northwest. From the lookout tower (between cycle junctions 71 and 81) you have an impressive view of this vast nature reserve of 700 hectares! You can just see Radio Kootwijk in the distance.
Like a cathedral, in the middle of the heath! As a broadcasting complex at the time (mainly to the Dutch East Indies), Radio Kootwijk was a symbol for technology and architecture in the 1920s (art deco style). Ideal silence and transmission location. This national monument can be visited, for example, during organized excursions.
Another typical attraction in the Veluwe! You often come across Scottish Highlanders along the cycle paths!
