Entrance of the house, on the left side of the shed is the key safe. You will receive the code 2 days prior to the booked date.

When you see this sign, you know you're there. This cottage has the predicate nature house. The light in a quiet area adjacent to the Crown Domains.
This is the seating area opposite the patio doors that open onto the porch. Great place to relax in inclement weather.

An atmospheric photo of the kitchen with all conveniences. There is a coffee machine with filter coffee which is nice and warm and tasty.
Another impression of the atmosphere, gas hob and enough pans and attributes for delicious cooking or for a quick meal.
Here you can see the goldcrest from the entrance to the plot. On the spacious floor you have an unobstructed view of the woods and sunset in good weather.
The basic necessities for cooking are provided.

Enough space for clothes
This is the master bedroom with its own reading lamp on both sides. The mattress is wonderful.

This is the extra room with a bed of 190 by 80cm. Aimed at children.

In the extra room we have some toys ready for the young guests.
The cottage is equipped with mosquito nets and blinds all around.
The Goldcrest Emst
Again an atmospheric photo, this time of the prop that is also present on the site to store your bike.
View of the crown estate, wild boars walk by the row of trees at dusk. CAUTION: never feed boars, you will make them pushy.
This stove is easy to light and gives just that little bit of extra atmosphere to a long evening. Wood can be ordered you will then get matching kindling and split logs for 2 to 4 evenings incl. firelighters.

Early in the morning you step outside through the French doors to enjoy the sun on our terrace.
And then shot from the living room an hour later: having coffee together and enjoying silence.

It is wonderful to walk on the large quiet heath. This is at Gortel. You can walk there in ten minutes from our house!

Fancy a game of jeu de boules? Plenty of space! And you will find the boules in our bicycle shed.
In early spring we go by car or bicycle to the sheepfold at Heerde. Huge heather and the sheep come to the cage in the afternoon with their lambs. Beautiful face!
On one of our walks from the cottage you walk a lot along this beautiful stream.
They do not like it, but we look in the nest young thrushes in the birdhouse to the oak 5 meters from our house. (See the picture with the squirrel)

A ten minute walk along the forest and you are on this heath at Gortel. It is October, the sheep have been stamped by the ram. So this spring again lots of lambs!
We just saw this rare hawfinch near our house. He enjoyed the rowan berries!
