Time to relax! Grab a nice drink and some snacks, because chances are you'll want to spend hours in the bath.
The cottage has a living room with cozy sitting area and dining area.
The forest cottage has a large, fenced garden where you can enjoy the singing birds
If desired, a baby cot can be placed in bedroom 1.
You can also sit in the garden in the evening with mood lighting. Or in the hot tub under the stars.

The new kitchen from 2025 is well equipped with a dishwasher, gas hob, spacious fridge-freezer. Coffee and tea are included. Tea towels and dishwasher cubes are provided.

Crockery, pans, pots, everything is there for a wonderful stay.
The cottage has two bedrooms. One room with two single beds (90x200). The single beds are pushed together as standard.

Early in the morning you step outside through the French doors to enjoy the sun on our terrace.
And then shot from the living room an hour later: having coffee together and enjoying silence.

It is wonderful to walk on the large quiet heath. This is at Gortel. You can walk there in ten minutes from our house!

Fancy a game of jeu de boules? Plenty of space! And you will find the boules in our bicycle shed.
In early spring we go by car or bicycle to the sheepfold at Heerde. Huge heather and the sheep come to the cage in the afternoon with their lambs. Beautiful face!
On one of our walks from the cottage you walk a lot along this beautiful stream.
They do not like it, but we look in the nest young thrushes in the birdhouse to the oak 5 meters from our house. (See the picture with the squirrel)

A ten minute walk along the forest and you are on this heath at Gortel. It is October, the sheep have been stamped by the ram. So this spring again lots of lambs!
We just saw this rare hawfinch near our house. He enjoyed the rowan berries!
