Welcome to our chalet in Kootwijk.

We have enjoyed coming to the Veluwe for years. The peace, space and beautiful nature have stolen our hearts.

In our chalet we would like others to enjoy the atmosphere and the environment that we ourselves are so enthusiastic about. Here you can get away from the daily hustle and bustle.

Our chalet is a nice place to relax together and discover the area. Whether you come for long walks, beautiful bike rides, nature, peace and quiet or just a few days of carefree enjoyment: there is always something special to experience in the Veluwe.

On arrival you will find beds made and a fine bath linen package. Care products are available. The kitchen is equipped with div. spices, supplies and utensils to cook deliciously. There is coffee/tea available so that you can enjoy immediately upon arrival.

Your dog (possibly 2nd dog in consultation) is also welcome, the garden is fully fenced so that your dog and the surrounding nature remain safe.

How nice that you have chosen to stay in our cozy chalet. Welcome!
We are Pieter and Ninke Kaij. Together with our two sons we live in North Holland. We have loved coming to the Veluwe for years and in 2025 our dream will have come true: our own chalet, in the middle of beautiful nature and close to the forest.
We enjoy the peace, nature and the beautiful surroundings every time. Especially a walk on the Kootwijkerzand at sunset remains something special for us.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.
