Tiny House Boarn is located in the middle of the estate, with a flowery strip behind it. You sleep here with two people on Pean-buiten Weidum, 8 kilometers from Leeuwarden and on the Eleven Cities Route. The cottage is 27 square meters, all on one level, with its own kitchen and private bathroom.
Inside
You sleep on two Swiss Sense box springs against each other, with a topper over it, and the bed is made when you arrive. The bathroom with shower is yours alone, with towels, shampoo, toiletries and a hair dryer. There is a seating area, a desk and a dining table for two. There is air conditioning, and you can step outside through the garden doors. There is no television, and that is exactly the intention.
Cooking yourself
The kitchen has two induction zones, a fridge with freezer compartment and everything for cooking and eating: pans, plates, glasses, cutlery, cooking utensils and tea towels. There is a Nespresso with a kettle, and cups, cups and tea are ready. You bring your own groceries, so you can eat when you want.
Outside
Outside is your own seating area with two chairs and a table. Around you are three hectares of estate, with a standard orchard and meadows. In the living room of the farmhouse from 1867 there is a coffee bar with a wood-burning stove, which is open to guests day and night.
On the water
The Swette, the Elfstedenwater, runs along the estate, on which the Elfstedentocht is held. You can rent a paddle board or an electric sloop, and the Finnish sauna in the meadows can be booked with your stay: one hour costs 35 euros, two hours 50 euros, even in winter.
With your dog
Your dog is welcome in Tiny House Boarn, for 25 euros per stay. Please let us know when booking.
Arrive
You can park for free on site and walk to your house with a luggage cart, and there is a charging station. Check-in is possible from 15:00 and at any time thereafter, as you will receive the code of the key safe in advance. At 10:00 am you are gone again.
Children are welcome. The cottage is made for two people, so it is also possible with an adult and a child.
