Tiny House Anjewiel stands on its own side path, closest to the entrance, next to the traditional orchard. You stay here with two people on Pean-buiten Weidum, 8 kilometres from Leeuwarden and on the Eleven Cities route. The house is 27 square metres, all on one level, with its own kitchen and its own bathroom.
Inside
You sleep on two Swiss Sense box springs pushed together, with a topper over them, and the bed is made when you arrive. The bathroom with shower is yours alone, with towels, shampoo, toiletries and a hairdryer. There is a seating area, a desk and a small dining table for two. There is air conditioning, and the garden doors take you straight outside. There is no television, and that is exactly the idea.
Cooking for yourself
The kitchen has two induction zones, a fridge with a freezer compartment and everything for cooking and eating: pans, plates, glasses, cutlery, utensils and tea towels. There is a Nespresso machine and a kettle, with cups, capsules and tea ready for you. You bring your own groceries, so you eat whenever you like.
Outside
Outside you have your own seating area with two chairs and a small table. Around you lie three hectares of estate, with a traditional orchard and meadows. In the living room of the farmhouse from 1867 there is a coffee bar with a wood stove, open to guests day and night.
Out on the water
Along the estate runs the Swette, the Elfsteden water on which the Eleven Cities Tour is skated. You can rent a SUP board or an electric boat there, and the Finnish sauna in the meadows can be booked with your stay: one hour costs 35 euros, two hours 50 euros, also in winter.
With your dog
Your dog is welcome in Tiny House Anjewiel, for 25 euros per stay. Just let us know when you book.
Arriving
You park for free on site and walk to your house with a luggage cart, and there is a charging point. Check-in is from 15:00 and at any time after that, because you receive the code of the key safe in advance. You leave again at 10:00.
Children are welcome. The house is made for two people, so one adult with one child works too.
