This beautiful unique holiday home is located on your own island in the countryside, overlooking the closed natural lake. You can only reach your house by boat (included) and you are really away from the daily hectic. You are truly one with nature. The house is off-grid, self-sufficient: electricity is generated by solar panels, you cook with gas bottles or outside on the BBQ and shower with the collected rainwater. The holiday home has a spacious hall, bathroom, kitchen with refrigerator with freezer and gas stove. A spacious living-dining room with a fantastic view and a wonderful hanging chair for reading or musing while enjoying the passing birds or deer. On the first floor there are two bedrooms with 5 beds and a spacious landing. Prices are based on 4 persons. 5 person on request.

You can also go here for long walks, afternoon or day trips or a wonderful bike ride. Did you know that this area is one of the quietest and darkest areas in the Netherlands? There are still many animal species in this beautiful area. Don't be surprised if a deer comes through the garden or enjoy the falcon or the many geese. Maps with walking, boating and cycling tours are available in the house. Explore the surroundings of De Alde Feanen National Park and rent a bicycle, sailboat or motorboat in Earnewald.

This location is perfect for anyone who loves fishing, swimming or simply enjoying nature. With the waterfront close by, you'll have plenty of opportunity to cast your line or take a refreshing dip. It really is a super place to relax.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If, for whatever reason, the tenant cannot, does not want to or will not accept the rented property on the agreed date, he must immediately inform the landlord of this. A telephone notification of this must always be confirmed in writing or by email to the landlord. If the tenant cancels the agreement in the period up to 6 weeks before the start date of the rental period, he will still owe 30% of the rental price; in case of cancellation up to 4 weeks, 50% and from 2 weeks until the start date of the rental period, he remains liable for the full rental price.
