Friesland - Terherne - Sneekermeer - Water sports - Fishing - Cycling - Privacy - Child and animal friendly!
Less than 1.5-2 hours drive from the Randstad you will find our spacious, detached villa Boeier in Terherne (located between famous Frisian lakes such as the Sneekermeer, the Terkaplesterpoelen and the Goëngarijpsterpoelen). Just outside the center of the water sports village of Terherne (Kameleondorp) is the very spacious and green Villapark Deherne. Our villa Boeier is located on the Bongel (a dead end street, so no through traffic), of which we have been the first and proud owner since the nineties. Tranquility and space are the characteristics of this Villa Park, which is not only used for living, but also for recreation, so it's no wonder that the slogan of the Villa Park is: 'Villa Park Deherne puts you in calm waters'.
Villa Boeier is a spacious, detached house with unobstructed views on three sides. In particular, the view over the water from the (covered) terrace at the rear is fantastic. You park your car on your own driveway in front of the garage and enter your holiday home at the front. Through a hall you enter the spacious living room with open kitchen. On the ground floor you will find a spacious sitting area with 43" smart TV (including free Netflix), a dining area for six people and the kitchen. A dishwasher and washing machine are at your disposal in the utility room and you can enter through the utility room. to the garage where a (rowing) boat is waiting to be launched.
Through the sliding doors from the living room you enter a large, south-east facing covered sun terrace with sufficient garden furniture and the fully enclosed garden, making the house not only child and animal friendly, but also safe. Due to the water depth of at least 2 m, the jetty behind the house offers enough space for several (larger) keelboats and within 10 minutes you are on the Sneekermeer. Only a small drawbridge (4.20 m wide, remote-controlled) separates the villa park from hours of sailing and sailing pleasure! The water is of excellent quality and you can (possibly via the swimming ladder) enter the water in no time. Anglers also have a great spot here, because fishing from the jetty is allowed because no fishing license is required for the private water behind the house.
There are three bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom at the rear is extra large due to the spacious extension and offers a magnificent view of the water in the park. In the children's room there is a bunk bed and in the bedroom at the front there are two single beds and you have your own sink. Finally, in the bathroom you will find a shower, toilet and sink. The fourth bedroom is located on the attic floor, again with two single beds. The velux window provides plenty of daylight and fresh air.
All in all, there are eight beds in our holiday villa, two of which are bunk beds. That makes our house ideal for families with younger and older children. Groups of (for example) three adult couples also have enough space in our house.
