About the house
Our holiday home called 'Nescio' is a quiet, colorful house located on a dead end road, equipped with all modern conveniences and a touch of traditional Frisian warmth. The house was built in the 1960s, and this can still be seen in the authentic details. The house has three attractive bedrooms on the ground floor (two double rooms and a five-person room), a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, and a fully equipped modern kitchen with a long table. Through the large sliding doors you go to the garden where you can enjoy the outdoors. On the spacious terrace there are various places to read, eat, sunbathe, or relax in the shade. There is also a wooden shower room outside. On the first floor there is a cozy living room with lounge area, dining table, TV and fireplace. There is a spacious balcony on the first floor at both the front and the back of the house. Situated directly on a quiet waterway, with the Terhernster Poelen and the Sneekermeer 'around the corner', our house is perfect for a relaxing holiday during which all kinds of water sports can be practiced. The house has its own harbor and jetty, so you can also bring your own boat. You have access to a barbecue and a single kayak and a double canoe. From the house you can do all kinds of things, such as a visit to the Kameleondorp, a walk along the Sneekermeer, or a day out to Leeuwarden or one of the other beautiful Frisian cities. There are several nice dining options nearby.
