The Terp House - Ee, Friesland

The mound house is a detached holiday home where you will quickly feel at home thanks to the romantic and cozy interior.  The restored cottage can be found in the middle of the mound in the protected village view of Ie. There are almost no cars here, so you can sit quietly on the terrace in the garden. For children, it is quickly familiar to walk to the playground around the corner themselves. The cottage is therefore ideal for families with young children. People with walking difficulties can also go here, because all facilities are on the ground floor. In 2019, this house was completely renovated with, among other things, a new bathroom with music coming from the ceiling!

Complete interior
A special feature of the mound house is the complete interior, the beds are made and the bathrobes are ready. All you have to bring is your clothes, toiletry bag and possibly a laptop. Wifi is available. But also toys (for indoors and outdoors), reading material and  the basic necessities (from a lighter to filter bags) can be found in this house. As a holidaymaker, you are completely unburdened. You can park your car in the driveway next to the house and you can store your bicycles in the garage. It is also possible to rent bicycles, possibly with a child seat (if available).

Layout:

• The ground floor has an entrance hall, toilet, utility room, kitchen, room, a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom with sink and shower. In the utility room there is a washing machine and drying rack and on request a fifth (children's) bed can be added.
• Bathroom + toilet were completely renovated in 2019!
• The living room (with central heating) has wifi, a TV and reading material. An open kitchen with an induction stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave and all kitchen utensils.
• On the first floor is a landing and a bedroom with two single beds.
• For our youngest guests there is a cot, high chair and bath on request.
• Private parking for our guests.
