House on the mound

This cozy and tastefully decorated house is located in the middle of the mound of the quiet and picturesque village of Ee. The beautiful, special center of the village has the status of "protected village view". This house is also located here. The cozy living room, dining kitchen, separate toilet and modern shower room are located on the ground floor. Upstairs are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a spacious double box spring. The second bedroom can be used as a dressing room or possibly. suitable for an extra (children's) bed. All this makes the house especially suitable for a couple or a small family for up to 3 people. The house is connected to the fiber optic network.

Outside you have a sheltered private garden with terrace which also gives access to a small playground via a garden gate. In the garden there is also a lockable shed with electricity where you can safely store your bicycles and charge E-bikes. For daily shopping you can go to Anjum (4 km) and nice towns such as Kollum and the historic town of Dokkum, both about 7 km away. Groningen and Leeuwarden can be reached within half an hour by car. The house is a great base for cycling, boat and/or walking tours through Northeast Friesland. This part of Friesland, together with the northwest of Groningen, is an undiscovered area. You will be surprised by the peace, space and beauty that is still fully present here. The Lauwersmeer National Park (bird paradise and "dark sky park") and the Wadden Sea are both a stone's throw away. A day trip to Schiermonnikoog or Ameland is more than worthwhile. There are also many small museums in the area (including the flax museum in Ee) and for culinary enthusiasts there are several (top) restaurants in the area.
