't Veenhuys

This two-bedroom nature house is attractively decorated and has a ceiling of oak beams. It has beds from Van Der Valk and a huge glass front, which means that you can enjoy it to the fullest. The terrace in front of 't Veenhuys is suitable for listening to the silence, because you don't hear highways here. Can you spot some of the many birds in this area? If you're lucky you'll even see the white-tailed eagle, majestic! 

The location is just outside the water sports village of De Veenhoop. With the many cycling and walking routes, including bird hides, watchtowers and other surprises, the area is a popular cycling and walking area. A short distance away you can enjoy the Frisian waters, forest and heathland and, if you want, also numerous characteristic old towns and villages. The location is rural, yet central. Within 10 minutes by car you are in the center of Friesland: Drachten. There is a lot to do in Drachten. Go shopping, bowling, swimming in the subtropical swimming pool, eat out or take the children to the petting zoo with indoor play area. A little further away are Heerenveen (20 minutes by car) and Leeuwarden (25 minutes by car). Both cities have a wide range of attractions such as football stadiums, ice stadiums and many other attractions. One of the gems that you don't want to miss is the historic village of Beetsterzwaag.
