The bedroom at the front has a double box spring of 2.20 m. So nice for tall people. In addition, the box spring can be separated, so that two single beds can be placed. The other bedroom is also more than comfortable. The toilet is separate from the bathroom. And both are not adjacent to a bedroom. You can hang your own laptop on the flat screen or watch DVDs.

We are Annemarie Houkes and Roeland Tameling. Both born and raised in the north. She in Drenthe (Sleen), he in Groningen (Leek). Our parents still live there and we therefore regularly spend the night in our holiday home in Westerbork. With great pleasure, and we would like to share that pleasure with you.

Annemarie likes walking, yoga and going to the sauna. And Roland? Running, meeting his friends and working as a volunteer in youth work and all kinds of boards.

Do you want to cancel or change your reservation?

 It may happen that you still have to cancel your reservation. In that case, the following rules apply:
  • Within 14 days of making the reservation, the reservation can be canceled free of charge unless the cancellation is made 30 days or less before the start of your stay.
  • If a reservation is canceled after 14 days of making the reservation or within 30 days before the start of your stay, both cancellation costs and the administration costs charged for the reservation are due. The total costs for cancellation up to 30 days before the day of arrival are 30% of the total amount and for cancellation from the 30th day before arrival or later the full total amount.
Those are the formal conditions. But where possible, we are happy to arrange a free rebooking to another date. Whether this works depends on the circumstances, so feel free to ask Annemarie about the possibilities.

W hat is included in the price?
  • The VAT we pay to the tax authorities (9% of your booking amount)
  • Costs for charging your electric car and the reasonable use of other utilities (water, internet, etc.)
  • The use of the sauna and other facilities in the Ecolodge
  • The rental of bed linen (duvet covers, etc.)
What is not included in the standard price?
  • Cleaning costs €80.00
  • Rental of towels and washcloths (optional, €7.50 per set / person
  • Tourist tax Municipality of Midden Drenthe: € 1.30 per person per overnight stay

The flowering meadow is a surprise every year. Sometimes very exuberant. Sometimes with some more weeds and grass.

The flowering meadow is meant as food for the bees, bumblebees, butterflies and other insects, but everyone enjoys the color splendor.
Just cross the Anserweg and you walk on the Ruiner es. In the summer you walk past all kinds of agricultural crops such as oats, barley, corn or potatoes. The cornflower and the poppy flower between the grain. In 20 minutes you are in the Anserdennen or on the Dwingelderveld.
Lucerne, Bolderik, Buckwheat, Cosmea, Girl's eyes, Ganzebloem, Gipskruid, Cornflower and much more.
The Armstraat with a view of the Ruiner es.
't Juttendel is adjacent to the Armstraat. A lot is being walked on about this. The 'Rondje Ruinen' is a favorite among many people.
