Rent a holiday home from 70 euros per night. There is a minimum of four nights to book. In low season, the rate is 70 euros per night. In high season it is 110 euros per night. The cleaning fee is 50 euros per stay. Furthermore, there are no additional costs.

Recently renovated holiday home with a large garden and lots of privacy in a wooded area. The house is located on the border of Friesland and Drenthe. Directly from the house you can walk straight into the forest or you can start with a bike ride.

The house has a large living room and spacious kitchen. The bathroom is completely new and there are two bedrooms.

The kitchen has a fridge/freezer, induction hob and a combi oven microwave. There is also a kettle, toaster, hand blender, coffee maker and a Nespresso machine. In addition, the usual, extensive kitchen inventory.

In the living room there is a sofa and two comfortable chairs. There is also a spacious table with four chairs where you can eat together. There is TV and WIFI available.

In the utility room is the washing machine and four garden chairs. Behind the pond and the large purple flowering rhododendron there is a lockable shed: here are two bicycles that can be used. Two more bikes fit in with it.

The holiday home is located right in the heart of the Drents-Friese would in the hamlet of Oude Willem. The wooded area is ideal for walking, cycling or mountain biking. There are also many fun activities to do in the area. For example, the nearby village of Diever is known for the Shakespeare Theatre. This is an open-air theater that hosts Shakespearean plays every summer.

The nearby Appelscha has, among other things, the traffic and amusement park Duinen Zathe and also has the beautiful climbing forest. Nearby is the UNESCO World Heritage Site 'The Colonies of Benevolence' in Frederiksoord and Veenhuizen. Get to know this by visiting the Museum de Proefkolonie or the prison museum. The museum village of Orvelte is also worth a visit. Or visit the water village of Giethoorn and take a nice boat trip here.

We are Klaas and Nynke and now the happy owners -after it has been my parents' for years- of a beautiful holiday home in the woods of Drenthe. We come there regularly to maintain 'Oude Willem' neatly and to enjoy nature and the animals, really lots of birds, hare, squirrel, deer and much more. We would like to make our house available to people who, just like us, want to enjoy the peace and space and the beautiful nature by cycling and/or walking.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for whatever reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if, for example, this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone). Landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of writtencancellation by the tenant:

Cancellation more than 1 month before the start of the rental period: free of charge
Cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will no longer use the rented property, he will continue to owe the full rent.
