Modern Finnish holiday villa with sauna and 2 bathrooms on 2400 M2 of private forest land, within walking distance of Norg. The house is ideally located in the forest with a view over the meadows.

Norg is an old esdorp with village green, where an annual fair is held several times a year and many activities are organised.
Every season is incredibly beautiful in Drenthe. In winter with a thick layer of snow, it is like a fairy tale and in spring, summer and autumn with the many colored leaves, it is also picturesque.
It is quiet in all seasons. Because there is no light pollution, it is completely dark at night and you can see many more stars than is possible in a city.

Norg has a number of attractive shops, good restaurants, 2 large supermarkets and a very old picturesque church from 1300. The friendliness of the people who live there is also striking.
The area around Norg is known for its many beautiful cycle paths. There is a bicycle rental company in the village.


The first dolmen in Westervelde is 2 km away.
If you continue driving you will arrive in Veenhuizen. A former penal colony with monumental houses, which is therefore on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Here you can also visit the prison museum. Beer is brewed and cheese is made in Maallust and Kaaslust.

Near Veenhuizen is the Fochteloërveen, a 25 hectare nature reserve. It is considered one of the best preserved raised bog areas in the Netherlands.

The capital of Drenthe, Assen, is also worth a visit. Not only for the many shops and the beautiful center, but also visit the Drenthe museum with its many exhibitions.

We have been coming to our house in Norg as a family since 1993. Great for our 4 children who could romp and make tree houses. This also applies to our grandchildren.
Over the years, the old house started to sag more and more and we eventually had to replace it. In 2007, with the help of Boelens from Norg, we built this house from a Finnish larch wood supplied by christianpanbo.dk.
We have had this house for rent since 2009.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

We are happy to receive families, 
Other groups of adults are also welcome with age 25 or older.

We sometimes  go on holiday ourselves, with a late booking request, we may not be able to serve you because we are not there ourselves.

We regularly have  guests with a CARA condition, therefore  pets are not allowed and smoking is also not allowed.

We cannot receive groups of young people because of the peace and quiet in the forest and the possible damage.

Cancellation policy

Of course, we assume that most bookings are successful, but unfortunately it can sometimes happen that a renter has to cancel the booking. . 
Cancellations please  be communicated in writing by the tenant to the landlord.
  • Cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
  • In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
  • In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
  • In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
  • In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
  • If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.

The cozy and comfortable living room has a well-fitting sofa, a relaxing armchair and garden doors that open on two sides and a large television
A small kitchen with everything you need, you do the washing up yourself. The table is extendable on both sides.
This is the main bedroom of the bungalow. The room has a washbasin. There are 2 beds and a trundle bed (all three beds are 80 cm wide)
At the park is also a nice miniature golf course with 18 holes
This spacious bedroom has two box spring beds, each 90 cm wide. A comfortable bedroom with a built-in wardrobe
In this small bedroom there is a bed with a trundle bed (80 cm wide). In the chest of drawers in the foreground there is space to store clothes. There are also some children's toys and games.

In summer you can enjoy the barbeque (available in the house) on the lawn behind the house, surrounded by the trees.
