Strandhuis Nijstad is an attractive and luxuriously furnished holiday home for up to 6 people, located directly on the recreational lake. From the spacious garden, from the terrace and from the deck you can enjoy the unique unobstructed view over the water. And it gets even more fun: the boat with electric motor is ready for you during your stay.
Enjoy inside
The living room is light and comfortable and has large windows with beautiful views over the recreational lake. At the generous dining table there is plenty of space for long breakfasts, cozy dinners, a board game or a creative afternoon with the family.
The luxury kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, large refrigerator, freezer drawers and dishwasher. After a day outside, you can relax on the comfortable sofa or one of the armchairs. Want to relax with a book, watch television or stream your favorite series? It's all possible.
The house has 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms have a luxury box spring and the third bedroom has a bunk bed, ideal for children.
There is a separate toilet in the hall with a luxury sink. The spacious bathroom has a lovely rain shower, double sink and a second toilet. Of course there is also a hair dryer available.
Outdoor living by the water
Outside it is just as enjoyable. In the spacious garden you will find a large garden table with garden bench and chairs, two comfortable sun loungers and four fine lounge chairs on the deck. Find a spot in the sun, plan a cozy barbecue or enjoy the peace and quiet and the view over the water in the evening.
The lockable shed provides handy extra storage space. A washing machine is available for a fee.
And of course there is the boat with an electric motor. Step aboard and discover the recreational lake from the water – a wonderful way to spend a sunny holiday.
Beach, water and fun within walking distance
A short walk away are Nijstad Beach and Nijstad Pavilion. Here you can enjoy a snack and a drink, but also all kinds of fun activities on and around the water. For example, rent a SUP, e-chopper, canoe or pedal boat and discover the area in an active way.
Are you a lover of fishing? From the deck you can cast your rod right away. You can also fish in the Hoogeveense Vaart, behind the holiday home, with a valid fishing pass.
Discover Drenthe
Strandhuis Nijstad is also a great base for walkers and cyclists. In the immediate vicinity you will find a wide range of cycling and walking routes. Just 1.5 kilometers away is the free play forest 't Roekpad, a fun place for children to discover and play.
And if you want to see more of Drenthe, this is the place to be. Strandhuis Nijstad is located between three beautiful National Parks: Dwingelderveld, Weerribben-Wieden and the Drents-Friese would. The cozy towns of Hoogeveen and Meppel are also nearby.
