Villa

The country house dating from 1700 has been lovingly restored by the Conte and Contessa (count and countess) in the mid-90s using authentic materials from the region and under the guidance of an architect. More than 20 years later, we immediately fell in love with the house, the spaciousness inside, the location and the view.

There is plenty of space inside and outside to spend time together, but also plenty of places to isolate yourself and read a book or doze off. The fully fenced, 1.5 hectare garden with olive grove is there to play in and offers 100% privacy. In the large saltwater swimming pool (5-14m) you can cool off or romp around, the covered terrace by the pool protects against the summer sun's rays.

The kitchen has been completely renovated to appeal to the cooking enthusiast (including myself). There is a combi-steam oven, a large oven, induction hob, various kitchen appliances, good pans and knives, etc. to conjure up delicious dishes. On the large, recently renovated terrace, you can all enjoy the meal, the wine from the area and the balmy evenings.

Those who love music have a sonos speaker in almost all (bed) rooms and can play the piano on our 2m long Kawai grand piano.

The area offers many opportunities for outings, water sports, food, wine tasting, sightseeing, etc. Orvieto is just a stone's throw away. Cities such as Todi, Perugia, Arezzo can be visited. Lake Bolsena can provide even more (water) entertainment. Rome can be visited by train.

The farmhouse has on the ground floor an entrance hall, a spacious bright living room, a dining room and the kitchen. From all rooms you can go outside to a (covered) terrace. On the first floor there is the music room, a second living room with loggia and three bedrooms each with its own bathroom.
THE COUNTRY HOUSE AND THE GROUNDS are for rent (without the annex) for a group of MAXIMUM 6 PEOPLE. The summer living room is not available in the period from November to March: the lemon trees are stored here.

The annex has an independent apartment and a fifth bedroom each with its own bathroom. Groups of 7 people or more must rent the annex. A laundry room can also be found in the annex and is available to every tenant.

Orvieto can be reached from the Netherlands by car, train or plane (Rome Fiumicino is a 1.5-hour drive away as well as Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport, Perugia (Transavia) is a 5-quarters of an hour away). All necessary shops can be found within a radius of 3 kilometers.

Dear visitor, nice that you are looking at our house.

We fell in love with this house after many visits with the broker to various objects around Orvieto. We stay in this beautiful place in the spring and autumn. I am sure that in the summer you will appreciate the location as well as the charms of the house. If you have any questions or want more information, please contact us !!
