Casa Vento

You will stay in a recently restored farmhouse with authentic thick stone walls. There are two floors and there is a fireplace. Outside are 2 terraces with views of Todi, but you can also use the pool terrace or the terrace above the pool with 180 degree views over the Tiber Valley.

Recently, the other house on the property has been renovated with sustainability in mind. There are 36 solar panels, a water recycling system, a charging station and we deliberately do not use air conditioners.

In the cottage is 1 bedroom, where 2 adults can sleep. There is space to put a baby cot in the bedroom. In addition, there is the possibility to rent a room in the owner's large house, so that you could come and celebrate your holiday with 4-6 adults. Of course in consultation. The facilities in the cottage are adapted to accommodate 4-6 adults.

The cottage is surrounded by nature and olive groves and there is a swimming pool that is open from May to October.

On our property there is an olive grove with about 300 trees. The olive harvest is at the end of October/November and if you want you can help. There are also fruit trees that you can pick from for your own use depending on the season.

Around the house you can see many animals such as wild boars, foxes, hares and occasionally a deer or a porcupine. In the summer, the nightingale sings and there are bee-eaters. At dusk, the owls appear.

A 15-minute walk away is Monte Castello di Vibio, a centuries-old village (dating back to Roman times) with a medieval appearance, where the smallest theater in Italy is located; Built in 1808 and occasionally in use. There is a bar, Caffè Central, with the most beautiful terrace in Umbria, where you have a breathtaking view of Todi and can go all day. There is also a bakery, ATM, pharmacy, supermarket and 2 restaurants.

Dogs under roll call are welcome. The owner also has a quiet dog.
