Caligiana

Our apartment is located at the quiet rear of a country house with 6 apartments and has an area of 64 square meters (excluding balcony on two sides) in a hamlet, Caligiana, on a hill in Umbria; (altitude: 450 meters). It is comfortable for four adults. Two adults with three children is also possible, but it is a bit tight.

The last five kilometers before arrival are on an unpaved road. Our directions will take you to the manager who will accompany you to the apartment and will be your point of contact during your stay.

At the foot of the hill is the village of Magione (about seven kilometers), where there are ample opportunities for shopping (market and supermarkets). Magione is located on a local highway (SR 75 bis) that takes you to Perugia in fifteen minutes. Umbria, "the land of Francis of Assisi", is a region with green, rolling hills, mainly covered with vineyards and olive groves. The immediate surroundings of Caligiana are ideal for exploring on foot or by bike. Various routes have been marked and the road to our holiday apartment is part of the network of officially marked walking routes around Lake Trasimeno.

Due to its central location, you can make nice day trips to famous places in Umbria and Tuscany, such as Perugia, Passignano sul Trasimeno, Castiglione de Lago, Cortona, Arezzo, Citta di Castello, Assisi, Siena and Montepulciano. More distant cities such as Florence and Rome can also be reached easily and quickly via motorways or train connections.

Around the outside corner there is a continuous balcony of approximately 16 square meters with garden furniture. The apartment complex has its own Wi-Fi network. Swimming pool and garden are for shared use. There are two sun loungers available by the pool per apartment. A cot and high chair and the like are available.
