The Al Monte holiday home is located in the hills north of Lucca, above the authentic village of Partigliano, at an altitude of 400 meters. The 200-year-old house is surrounded by olive and fruit trees and has a fantastic view of the village and the valley below. The plot offers wonderful places to be together or to enjoy the tranquility in seclusion.

The house was restored by the owners in 2007 and now offers comfortable accommodation for 7 people in a unique location. Although Al Monte has retained its rustic appearance thanks to the original exterior walls made of the typical local stone and its original bread oven, it has become a comfortable family home inside.

We are a Dutch family with 3 now grown children who intensely enjoy the Italian nature and culture. It has been our dream for a long time to have a nice family home that is easy to reach both by car and by plane. What we didn't want was a major remote renovation. But once we arrived at this fantastic place in 2007 we dropped this reservation and bought the more than 200 year old farmhouse that didn't even have running water.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

In case of cancellation up to 120 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 120 days (inclusive) to 30 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 30 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will no longer make use of the rented property, the tenant will still owe the full rent.
