The farmhouse "Fonte Migliari" is located in one of the most beautiful triangles in the world, which is formed by - each about seventy kilometers away - the beautiful historic cities of Florence, Siena and Luca.
   The attractive apartment CERVO, with all its modern comforts, is suitable for a family of 4 people and consists of 2 bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom and a large private terrace with shade cloths.
The living room is fully furnished with care and equipped with LED-HD TV with satellite (Dutch and International) channels and WiFi.
The complete kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner stove and extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave/oven, kettle, coffee maker and a large fridge-freezer and full kitchen utensils.
A modern bathroom has a handmade sink, a walk-in shower, luxurious free-hanging toilet and bidet.
The bedroom has a double bed of 160x200 and two windows to the private terrace. There are also two full-fledged single beds of 80x200 available in the living room. Your terrace is directly accessible by two patio doors where shade sails and comfortable adjustable hardwood chairs and table support comfort.
The apartment has its own BBQ on the private terrace that is located directly on the garden.
   Up-to-date and fully furnished apartment has self-contained central heating and air conditioning.

The rebuilt country house (1820 - 2005) is located halfway up the hill of Montecatini Val di Cecina. The village is located 1800 meters away from our podere and is definitely worth a visit with its medieval center. In Montecatini V.C you will find a post office, a bank and various shops for your daily shopping. In the meantime, a third restaurant has been opened with a particularly good and original Italian cuisine. Near the village and the house there are several excavations and a beautiful forest for walking.
On the ground floor of the house, three beautiful apartments have been realized using old and antique materials with beamed ceilings and Tuscan floors.
The apartments all have a spacious terrace, equipped with chairs, table and shade cloths and a private BBQ and a view over the beautiful valley of Volterrra.

Just over fifty meters away, is the swimming pool of 14.00 x 7.00 m. The swimming pool is beautifully situated in the middle of a large stone panoramic terrace that provides those wonderfully quiet and relaxing moments.

While sailing on the Mediterranean Sea, we had to flee into the harbor of Cecina before a storm. During this stop we arrived in the village of Montecatini vd Cecina and we fell in love with this part of Tuscany. We bought this podere in the summer of 2000 and the reconstruction took more than 5 years. After the (new) construction, we donated our company in the Netherlands to the staff and we left for our little paradise, to receive and spoil our guests there.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Attention to the following

Weekly rate includes

• Gas, electricity and water

• Weekly change of bed linen and towels (2 p.p.w.)

• Tourist tax € 1.50 pp maximum 7 days.

The apartments are equipped with programmed air conditioning.

Voluntary cancellation by the renter.

In the event of voluntary cancellation, other than as referred to in the policy conditions of the cancellation insurance taken out, or in the event that no cancellation insurance has been taken out, the following rules apply;

In case of cancellation up to 90 days before the start of the rental period, the tenant is obliged to pay 10% of the rental amount, plus costs incurred.

In case of cancellation between 90 and 60 days before the start of the rental period, the tenant is obliged to pay 50% plus the costs incurred.

In case of cancellation less than 60 days before the start of the rental period, the tenant is obliged to pay the full rental amount, plus costs incurred.

For the months of July & August, the use of the programmed air conditioning is included.

The swimming pool is very beautiful, with countless cypresses on the hillside and a great view of the valley with its grapes, cornfields and olive trees to the valley.
The swimming pool is 14 X 7 meters with a spacious terrace with ample sun loungers and parasols.
The swimming pool is open from 15 April until 15 October. The swimming pool is approximately 50 meters from the house and is shielded by a hedge.

WHERE IS THE HOUSE IN TUSCANY; “Fonte Migliari” is (within walking distance) about 1500 meters from the village, with bakery, small supermarket, pharmacy, bank, post office, bar and three restaurants. Approx. 12 km from Volterra (medium sized beautiful village). And about 30 km from the coastal town of Cecina. HOW IS THE LOCATION OF THE HOUSE; The house is located with two other farms in the sloping valley, together grain (for the spaghetti), wine (red and white), olive trees (for the oil) and vegetables (for own use) is grown on the estate of approx. 40 hectares cultivated.
