The country house "Fonte Migliari" is located in one of the most beautiful triangles in the world, which is formed by - each about seventy kilometers away - the beautiful historic cities of Florence, Siena and Luca.
The attractive apartment ANTICO, with all modern comfort, is suitable for a family of 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) and consists of 3 rooms and a spacious bathroom.
The spacious living room is furnished with great care and there is also a LED HD television with all Dutch and many international channels. A safe is available and free internet via Wi-Fi is possible.
The complete kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner gas stove and extractor hood, dishwasher, microwave/oven, kettle, coffee maker and large fridge-freezer combination.
A large and modern bathroom has a double handmade sink, a walk-in shower, toilet and bidet.
One bedroom has a double bed of 160x200 and patio doors to your terrace, the second bedroom has two single beds of 80x200.
The terrace is directly accessible through two French doors where 4 comfortable hardwood adjustable chairs and a table are available. There is also access to its own private BBQ.
The up to date fully furnished apartment has independent central heating and air conditioning.

The renovated country house (1820-2005) is located halfway up the hill of Montecatini Val di Cecina and is now divided into 3 apartments on the ground floor. The village is located 1800 meters from our podere and with its medieval center is definitely worth a visit. In Montecatini VC you will find a post office, a bank and various shops for your daily shopping. A third restaurant has now opened with a particularly good and original Italian kitchen. Near the village and the house are several excavations and a beautiful forest for walking.
Three beautiful apartments have been created in the podere on the ground floor, using the old and antique materials with beamed ceilings and Tuscan floors.
The apartments all have a spacious terrace, equipped with chairs, table and now with shade cloths and a view over the beautiful valley.

The swimming pool of 14.00 x 7.00 m, which belongs to the podere, is just over fifty meters away. The swimming pool is beautifully situated in the middle of a large stone panoramic terrace that ensures those wonderfully quiet and relaxing moments.

While sailing in the Mediterranean, we had to flee into the port of Cecina before a storm. During this period we came to the village of Montecatini VC and fell in love with this part of Tuscany. In the summer of 2000 we bought the ruins, the search for professionals and authentic building materials took 5 years. After construction, we donated our company in the Netherlands to the staff and we left for our little paradise to receive our guests there. Truus & Luc

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Please pay attention to the following;

Weekly price includes

• Gas, electricity and water

• Weekly change of bed linen and towels

• Free use of Wi-Fi

Not included

• Final cleaning costs € 90

• Tourist tax € 1.50 pp maximum 7 days, over 12 years

• Any heating costs (available on request)

• Use of the car charging station (available on request)

• We require a deposit of €200

Voluntary cancellation by the renter.

In the event of voluntary cancellation, other than as referred to in the policy conditions of the cancellation insurance taken out, or in the event that no cancellation insurance has been taken out, the following rules apply;

In case of cancellation up to 90 days before the start of the rental period, the tenant is obliged to pay 10% of the rental amount, plus costs incurred.

In case of cancellation between 90 and 60 days before the start of the rental period, the tenant is obliged to pay 50% plus the costs incurred.

In case of cancellation less than 60 days before the start of the rental period, the tenant is obliged to pay the full rental amount, plus costs incurred.

For the months of July & August, the use of the programmed air conditioning is included.

The swimming pool is beautifully situated, with dozens of cypress trees on the hill side and towards the valley a fantastic view of the valley with its grapevines, wheat fields, olive trees and the town of Volterra on the other side of the valley. The swimming pool is 14 X 7 meters and 1.5 meters deep, with a spacious terrace equipped with sun loungers and parasols for everyone, who are in the sun all day long. WHERE IS THE HOUSE IN TUSCANY; Fonte Migliari is (within walking distance) about 1500 meters from the village, with bakery, small supermarket, pharmacy, bank, post office, bar and three restaurants. Approx. 12 km from Volterra (medium sized beautiful village). And about 30 km from the coastal town of Cecina. HOW IS THE LOCATION OF THE HOUSE; The house is located with two other farms in the sloping valley, together grain (for the spaghetti), wine (red and white), olive trees (for the oil) and vegetables (for own use) is grown on the estate of approx. 40 hectares cultivated.
