Welcome to Casa Gemma, one of our three houses for rent. Lovers of Italian life can come and experience how wonderful it is to be "at the foot of the Alps" in the green hills of the Piedmont. Completely unwind, surrounded by greenery and the sounds of nature. Hearing what real silence sounds like. We have managed to turn a ruin into a beautiful home again, equipped with all comforts.  Come here for a week or more to "recharge" and enjoy peace, lots of greenery, beautiful views, our (heated) Infinity pool (5x13), delicious food, good wines, long walks, bike rides, the Mediterranean Sea, beautiful cities such as Turin, Genoa, Cuneo, Mondovi, Bra, Alba and Milan, small picturesque villages, culture and architecture, not to mention the lovely Italians. After seeing the photos, you will probably feel a huge need to leave the busy Netherlands behind you for a while.
Casa Gemma is suitable for 4-6 people. It is a bright house and it stands on the edge of the forest at the end of a tarmac road and the end of a very quiet village. From the house you can go directly onto the hiking trail or go on a tour with the MTB. No noises of traffic, highway or train. Here it is still really quiet. You only hear the sounds of nature. The birds, crickets, roe deer, boars, insects or the sound of a lovely summer breeze blowing through the leaves of the trees. Casa Gemma is part of 1 large farmhouse which is divided into 4 separate houses. Three of them are for rental. Casa Gemma has its own entrance and large private terrace on the southwest, spacious modern kitchen, 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, air conditioning and 1 bathroom. A mezzanine has been created above the kitchen, with sufficient headroom. Here is a very comfortable sofa bed with 2 innerspring mattresses that can be made into a double bed. At the swimming pool, which is located downstairs in the meadow, is the washing machine room for guests. Then the outdoor area to hang your laundry. At the pool also an extra bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. There is a covered open kitchen with BBQ, refrigerator and ice maker. Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool and a long dining table for cozy and extensive dining, playing games or crafts. There are also yoga/sports attributes. You would hardly want to leave the site.......
It is possible to charge an electric car at the car park for guests. You can request a high chair and cot from us, this costs nothing.
The photos give a good idea of what you can expect from us, what the location is like and the surroundings. The terrain around is now starting to become quite green. It takes before the planting and newly planted trees have reached the size we have in mind. We will regularly update the site with new photos. We hope you trust us, and book a holiday in one of our 3 brand new homes. It is also possible to book all 3 at the same time for a maximum of 16 people. Then we agree on a good price.
