Welcome to Casa Gemma, one of our three rental properties. From autumn 2023, the houses will be completely ready for reception. Lovers of Italian life can come and experience how wonderful it is to be in the green hills of the Piedmont "at the foot of the Alps". Unwind surrounded by greenery and the sounds of nature. Hear what real silence sounds like. We have managed to turn a ruin into a beautiful home, equipped with all comforts. Come here to "recharge" for a week or more and enjoy peace, lots of greenery, beautiful views, our (heated) infinity pool (5x13), delicious food, good wines, long walks, bike rides, the Mediterranean Sea, beautiful cities such as Turin , Genoa, Cuneo, Mondovi, Bra, Alba and Milan, small picturesque villages, culture and architecture, not to mention the lovely Italians. After seeing the photos you will probably feel the need to leave the busy Netherlands behind for a while.
Casa Gemma is suitable for 4-6 persons. It is a light house and it stands on the edge of the forest at the end of a tarmac road and the end of a very quiet village. No sounds of traffic, highway or train. It's really quiet here. You only hear the sounds of nature. The birds, crickets, deer, boars, insects or the sound of a lovely summer breeze blowing through the leaves of the trees. Casa Gemma is part of 1 large farmhouse divided into 4 separate houses. Three of them are for rental. Casa Gemma has its own entrance and large private terrace on the southwest, spacious modern kitchen, 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds, air conditioning and 1 bathroom. A loft has been created above the kitchen, with sufficient headroom. Here is a very comfortable sofa bed with 2 spring mattresses that can be converted into a double bed. At the swimming pool (infinity pool), which is located below in the meadow, is the washing room for the guests. Then the outdoor area to hang your laundry. At the pool also an extra bathroom with walk-in shower and toilet. There is a covered open kitchen with BBQ, refrigerator and ice maker. Sufficient sun beds and umbrellas around the pool and a long dining table for a cozy and extensive meal or crafts. You would hardly want to leave the site anymore.......
A charging station for the electric car will be installed in the near future at the parking lot for guests. You can request a high chair and cot from us free of charge.
The photos give a good idea of what you can expect from us, the location and the surroundings. Because the house was recently completed, the area around is not yet completely "green". It takes time for the planting to acquire the size we envision. We will regularly update the site with new photos. We hope you trust us and book a holiday in one of our 3 brand new houses. Also the possibility to book all 3 at the same time.
