Enjoy the space, nature, sports activities, the lake and the many restaurants in the area. Casa Mottarone is located halfway up the Mottarone mountain, in the middle of the woods and has a spectacular view of Lake Orta. On top of the mountain you can ski, hike, mountain bike, climb in the climbing forest, toboggan and enjoy the view over 7 lakes. Down on the mountain is the beautiful Lake Orta, surrounded by many villages and small beaches. One of the most beautiful villages in Italy, Orto San Guilio, is a 15-minute drive from the house. Do you want more crowds? Lake Maggiore is a 30 minute drive (Stresa and Arona), Milan and Como are an hour away and Turin is 1.5 hours. Wine tasting is also possible in the Piemonte. In short, the environment is a fantastic mix of nature, sports, culture and food!
The house is a real game lodge; a party for all seasons (with a fireplace!) including long tables to enjoy food or a game together. The garden is 4000 m2, so you have enough space. There are three bedrooms with 2 double beds and a room with 2 single beds. A wonderful place for young and old!

Nice to meet you. We are a family of four; Raymond, Sanne, Floor (13) and Thijmen (9). Raymond is an entrepreneur in sustainable energy and likes to walk and cycle, Sanne is a teacher, coach and likes to write. Floor rides a horse and dances. Thijmen plays tennis.

Our dream was to one day buy a second home in Italy. In May 2022 we made our dream come true and bought Casa Mottarone. We are happy to share the house with other Italy lovers!
