Villa Lucciola

Welcome to Villa Lucciola, a luxurious detached and sustainable holiday home located in the middle of the Apennines in Piedmont, Northern Italy.

Villa Lucciola is ideally located to explore the beautiful Piedmont and Liguria. The beaches of the Italian Riviera are 30-40 minutes away. The vineyards of Barolo and the ski slopes of Cuneo are 60 km (1 hour drive) from the house. Beautiful cities full of culture and shops such as Genoa, Milan and Turin are also easily accessible. And let's not forget Piemonte is the cradle of the slow food movement. There is also a lot to enjoy in the culinary field: there are countless excellent restaurants. In autumn there are plenty of truffles, and the region is famous for its hazelnuts.

The detached stone country house has been carefully restored and modernized in 2012 and is well maintained. The villa has a floor space of 275 m², has high ceilings, and gives a spacious and luxurious feeling. Depending on the booking, it can accommodate 6 or 8 people with 3 or 4 bedrooms, 2 or 3 bathrooms and 4 or 5 toilets. In the fourth bedroom there is also a children's bunk bed, so that it is possible to book for 2 more children. Also optional to book is a baby bed.

There are two spacious living rooms. One on the ground floor, with two sitting areas, a television, a wood stove and a spacious open kitchen with dishwasher and Nespresso machine. The other living room is on the first floor with a football table, a large sofa, an extensive DVD collection and television. The stairs to the upper living room are secured with a stair gate.

An extensive garden and forest surround the house. There is a heated swimming pool (open from May to mid-September), a jacuzzi and an outdoor kitchen with wood oven and BBQ. There are two outdoor dining areas and a lounge seating area. There is also a utility room with a toilet, an extra refrigerator and washing machine and dryer.

There are fans in every room in the villa for pleasant air circulation on hot days. There is also air conditioning in two bedrooms. The villa has been made more sustainable by the solar panels and solar collectors that were installed in 2023. Three security cameras are attached to the house, which do not film when the house is rented out or otherwise in use.
