The House

You will not find an impersonal and dated holiday bungalow here, but a cozy and tastefully furnished house where you immediately feel good and relaxed. The holiday home consists of 2 floors: On the top floor the hall, a large sunken living room, a large kitchen with fireplace, 1 bedroom with private bathroom. You can enjoy the phenomenal view from all rooms. On the top floor are also 2 large terraces of approximately 50m2 each.

On the ground floor there is a large bedroom with a double bed, bathroom with shower and bath, 2 bedrooms with two beds of 90x200 each, there is also a large lounge, playroom. There is also a storage and a technical room here. In total there are currently 8-9 sleeping places. Due to the present atmosphere and layout, the house is also very suitable for, for example, 2 people. The house is rented by you alone.

The house was built in 2008 with respect for nature. We have strived to blend it in with nature as much as possible and it is therefore partly sunk into the mountain. It is built according to the local requirements and values. The materials used are sourced from the environment, as they have been doing here for hundreds of years. Many materials have also been recycled. Only the energy supply is completely up-to-date and completely sustainable, based on solar energy. The new swimming pool was fully realized in March 2013. The pool is surrounded by terraces of hard wood and equipped with typical Italian sunbeds

The holiday home is furnished in a very personal and contemporary way. From self-designed tables to designer furniture, and of course it is equipped with all modern conveniences. The linen used is also ecological and the cleaning products spare the olive trees. Staying in the house allows you to wallow in 'ecochic', fresh clean air and beautiful surroundings.

The house is located in an authentic olive grove of approximately 3000 m2. The garden is closed> the parking lot is closed by an electric gate and offers space for several cars.

The house is suitable for persons of all ages and is very child friendly.

We are therefore very proud of the house and the place and it is our wish that many people will soon feel at home and be able to enjoy it.

Area

Dolceacqua is a village about 7 km from the Italian coast on the Riviera of Flowers. The house is located on a hill with direct views over the valley and the sea and is surrounded by olive trees and forest.

The area has a lot to offer:

The Mediterranean with many beaches (both sand and pebble), coastal towns and cities (San Remo, Bordighera, Ventimiglia)
Museums and Botanical Gardens(Giardini Hanbury)
Mountain landscape with exuberant nature. Waterfalls, natural pools, climbing, rafting, hiking and cycling
Beautiful medieval villages in the immediate vicinity with always a market or festival.

Healing Springs in Pigna
France a stone's throw away. Menton and Monaco around the corner.
During the winter, the ski resort Limone Piemonte is an hour's drive away
Just under 40 minutes from Nice Airport
And of course ..... many, many restaurants with great food and wines
