The house

You will not find an impersonal and dated holiday bungalow here, but a cozy and tastefully decorated house in which you immediately feel comfortable and relaxed. The holiday home consists of 2 floors: On the upper floor the hall, a large sunken living room, a large kitchen with fireplace, 1 bedroom with private bathroom. From all rooms you can enjoy the phenomenal view. On the top floor there are also 2 large terraces of about 50m2 each.

On the ground floor there is a large bedroom with double bed, bathroom with shower and bath, 2 bedrooms each with two beds of 90x200, there is also a large living room, playroom. There is also a storage room and a technical room here. In total there are currently 8-9 beds. Due to the atmosphere and layout, the house is also very suitable for, for example, 2 people. The house is rented by you alone.

The house was built in 2008 with respect for nature. We have strived to let it blend in with nature as much as possible and it is therefore partially sunk into the mountain. It is built according to the local requirements and values. The materials used are sourced from the environment, as they have been doing here for hundreds of years. Many materials have also been reused. Only the energy supply is completely contemporary and completely sustainable, based on solar energy. The new swimming pool was fully completed in March 2013. The pool is surrounded by terraces of hard wood and equipped with typical Italian sunbeds

In addition, the holiday home is very personal and contemporary. From self-designed tables to designer furniture, and of course it is equipped with all modern conveniences. The linen used is also ecological and the cleaning products save the olive trees. Staying in the house allows you to wallow in 'eco-chic', fresh clean air and beautiful surroundings.

The house is located in an authentic olive grove of about 3000 m2. The garden is enclosed> the parking lot is closed by an electric gate and offers space for several cars.

The house suitable for people of all ages and is very child friendly.

We are very proud of the house and the place and it is our wish that many people will soon feel at home and can enjoy it.

Area information

Dolceacqua is a village about 7 km from the Italian coast on the Riviera of Flowers. The house is located on a hill with direct views over the valley and the sea and is surrounded by olive trees and forest.
