Villa Torba is a stylish family house, originally constructed in 1886 and inhabited until 1970, when it was abandoned by the family. We have used the original stones and design to construct a great family house that has everything you would like to have. It is build on top of the mountain, with a 270 degree view of the valley, surrounding villages and mountains. At 450 meters elevation you will get the wind from 11.30 to 15.00 so even when it is hot there will always be wind.
Comfort, privacy, nature and obviously a view from all rooms. The house has 4 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 7 or 8 people. The pool is big enough to do your morning exercise, the mountains around you will challenge any person loving a brisk walk. If you bring your mountainbike, you can join many enthusiasts that try to conquer the surrounding mountains every year. You can encounter dear or other wild animals. We have enclosed the 2 hectare with a fence so you don't have to be afraid that a wild boar will look you in the eye during breakfast.
The village of Dolceacqua is only 10 minutes away, the beach 25 and the airport in Nice 60 minutes by car. The house has been created by food lovers, so you will find the in and outside kitchen well equipped. With 2 bathrooms and three toilets, 4 bedrooms and 20.000 mr2 of land, you have ample space to find your well earned peace and quiet. We have created multiple terraces, where you can sit, eat, read, play or sleep on a day bed . The recently created pergola will give you shade when needed.
