Villa Torba is a stylish family house, originally constructed in1886 and inhabited until 1970, when it was abandoned by the family. We have used the original stones and design to construct a great family house that has everything you would like to have. Comfort, privacy, nature and a view from all rooms.The house has 4 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 7 or 8 people. The pool is big enough to do your morning excersize, the mountains around you will challenge any person loving a brisk walk. You can encounter dear, wild boar and other wild animals. The village of Dolceacqua is only 10 minutes away, the beach 25 and the airport in Nice 60 minutes by car. The house has been created by food lovers, so you will find the in and outside kitchen well equipped.With 2 bathrooms and three toilets, 4 bedrooms and 20.000 mr2 of land, you have ample space to find your well earned peace and quiet. There are terasses around the house, where you can sit, eat, read, play or sleep. We truly hope you will come and stay in Villa Torba!

Hi, we are Nico and Magreet Engelsman. After having spend some years abroad we have settled in Baarn the Netherlands. In 2016 we have bought a piece of land in Dolceacqua with a ruin which we have demolished and rebuilt into a great family home.
Being "pensionados" we like to spend as much time as we can in Italy. One of the reasons being the 250 olive trees to look after. In october every year we harvest the olives to make the best olive oil in the world (we think).

Explanation of prices

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this to the host via email (even if this has already been communicated to the host by telephone, for example).The host will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
cancellation between the 59th and 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the renter only informs the host on the start date or during the rental period that they will not (or no longer) use the rented object, they remain liable for the full rental price.
