La Casa sul Lago is a large and comfortable apartment, right on the beach of the old village center in Onno, with a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. The house was built in 1840, has two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, storage space, an interior terrace and a (shared) garden directly on the water. It can accommodate 6 people and was completely refurbished in 2023 while retaining the original Italian details.
The spacious living room overlooks the lake and is equipped with air conditioning, smart TV and Wi-Fi, a three-seater sofa that also serves as a 2-person sofa bed and an original Italian marble dining table and fireplace. The two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds, are located at the back of the house and overlook the characteristic cobbled streets of Onno. There is a fully equipped kitchen including an induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and kettle. The bathroom has a comfortable walk-in shower and a washing machine.
The apartment occupies the entire first floor of the property. There is a wide staircase to the top, with an extra side entrance halfway to the inner terrace: a wonderful place to have breakfast outside or read a book.
The fenced yard has a boathouse and a nice lookout. There is a large table to eat outside under the wisteria, an unforgettable experience when the last sunlight colors the mountains and the villages on the shore slowly become mere twinkling dots.
