La Casa sul Lago is a large and comfortable apartment, right on the beach of the old village center in Onno, with a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. The house was built in 1840, measures 100 square meters and has two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, storage space, a nice private patio and a shared garden right on the water. It sleeps 6 people and has been completely refurbished in 2023 while retaining the original Italian details.
The spacious living room overlooks the lake and is equipped with air conditioning, smart TV and Wi-Fi, a three-seater sofa that also serves as a 2-person sofa bed and an original Italian marble dining table and fireplace. The two bedrooms, one with double bed and the other with bunk beds, are located at the back of the house and overlook the characteristic cobbled streets of Onno. There is a fully equipped kitchen including an induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and kettle. The bathroom has a comfortable walk-in shower and a washing machine.
The apartment occupies the entire first floor of the property. There is a wide staircase to the top, with an extra side entrance to the patio halfway through: a wonderful place to have breakfast or read a book outside.
The fenced garden has a boathouse and a nice lookout. There is a large table to eat outside under the wisteria, an unforgettable experience when the last sunlight colors the mountains and the villages on the shore slowly become just twinkling dots.
