Mandello del Lario (10,000 inhabitants) is a village with many cultural activities in the summer. It has a freely accessible beach with a bar, restaurant, sun loungers, parasols and shaded areas under the trees. The location is strategic: only 1 hour drive from Milan, Bergamo and Como and 10 minutes from Lecco. Idyllic lakeside villages are within easy reach by boat, bike or train (Bellagio, Varenna, Bellano, Menaggio). Hiking enthusiasts can indulge themselves in the mountains (the Grigne massif) or follow the medieval merchant path " Via del Viandante" along the lake with breathtaking views.
The train station, shopping center, supermarket and bakery are within walking distance as well as the lake + 4 parking spaces. The house is vertically divided over 3 floors and fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, air conditioning, telephone, WiFi, TV, DVD player and 2 ladies' bicycles). Due to the narrow and steep stairs, the house is not suitable for children who cannot climb stairs or people who have difficulty walking.
