Charaso is a beautiful old mountain village with about 40 inhabitants and is located at an altitude of 453 meters. In Charaso itself you will not find a supermarket or bakery, for this you descend a car for about 10 minutes to Pano Gouves. Recently a kafeneio/tavern has opened in the village where you can eat delicious traditional food.


Because Charaso is high up, you have beautiful views of the sea and the mountains from various sides. From Villa Raki you can make beautiful mountain walks through the olive groves and beautiful nature. Take a walk to the old stone mills.

The capital Heraklion and the airport are a 30-minute drive away. A 10-minute drive away is Pano Gouves where you will find 2 mini-markets, several taverns and an authentic bakery. Kato Gouves, a 15-minute drive away, is a pleasant seaside resort with sandy beaches, shops, taverns, supermarkets and even a small boulevard.

Villa Raki has recently been renovated and original elements have been preserved in the house. It is fully equipped for 8 people.
The 120m2 spacious house has a large terrace with BBQ, and a roof terrace with sunbeds.
Villa Raki has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with toilet, 1 separate toilet, and storage room with washing machine.

Ground floor:
- spacious living room with air conditioning, corner sofa and flat screen TV, open kitchen with dishwasher, ceramic hob, oven, Dolce Gusto coffee maker and fridge / freezer with filtered tap water and ice dispenser.
A large "tree trunk" dining table for 8 people for hours of table pleasure.
- bathroom with rain shower, vanity unit with 2 sinks, toilet, electric design radiator and hair dryer.
- bedroom with 2 twin beds (90x200), wardrobe and ceiling fan

The terrace with BBQ, has 2 outdoor tables, 2 umbrellas and 8 garden chairs (possibly with 4 garden chairs to be extended from the balcony). An intex pool 200 X 300 provides a little cooling on the hot days.

First floor:
- bedroom 2, very spacious, air conditioning and ceiling fan, double bed (180x220) and wardrobe.
- bedroom 3, air conditioning and ceiling fan, double bed (180x220), wardrobe and balcony with seating.
- bedroom 4, air conditioning and ceiling fan, 2 twin beds (90x200), wardrobe and balcony with seating.
- bathroom with rain shower, vanity unit, toilet, electric design radiator and hair dryer.
- access to the spacious roof terrace with 2 sunbeds and parasol.

Hot water supply by means of a solar water heater.
