This cozy detached house is for rent for 4 people. (Max 3 adults and 1 child). Complete with fireplace and a beautiful view over the fields and forests from the living room.

The location is very quiet. 5 minutes walk you are already in the woods! Here you can walk for hours. Alternatively, cycling, mountain biking and cross country skiing from the house.

The house is in a Erholungsgebiet. This is a kind of recreation area with several cottages. There are no central facilities. There are several lanes, each lane are about 14 detached houses with lots of green in between. At the beginning of each lane is a central parking. The lane is a footpath so there can be no cars. Our house is the first house on the parking lot. The big advantage is that you do all your stuff on the path have to lug to the house. Most houses are not very busy so you need not be afraid of noise.

It is very green with lots of trees, come here many animals off. Like many species of birds and squirrels come on the terrace in the hope of some goodies from you! Because our cottage on the outside is you have from the living room and the terrace a beautiful view!

The house itself has an area of ??50 m2.
There is a living room with a leather sofa and leather armchairs. A lovely fireplace, use of wood is included in the price!
There is a TV with BVN (combination of Dutch and Belgian programs) and various German, French and other stations. DVD player and several DVDs.
Bedroom with 2 bed, dressing table with mirror and a large closet.
(Children's) bedroom with bunk beds (upper bed 65 pounds!) And a wardrobe. Various (children's) games and toys.
Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
From the living room you can take such a step to the kitchen / dining room, with every comfort and convenience features such as; coffee maker, microwave, snack oven, kettle, electric cooker, fridge freezer, toaster.
In the bedrooms is laminate, the rest of the house has a tiled floor.

Garden area is 500m2. Terrace where guests can enjoy the beautiful view! Pond. In the open garden shed are 6 garden chairs with table and umbrella. There is a sled for winter fun! In summer it is also a clothesline available.

Lissendorf is a quiet village with 1400 inhabitants.
Here you will find a bakery, cafe, ATM, pharmacy, train station and a small supermarket.
In Junkerath (6 km away) you can turn the larger messages to include Aldi, Lidl, Rewe and Edeka. There is also a gas station.

The area has plenty to see and do: charming villages, interesting cities, zoos, castles, museums. Lissendorf is located in the Vulkan so many vestiges of this. Such as springs, geysers, volcanic cones and crater lakes. Also practice there are several sports: cycling, mountain biking, fishing, Nordic walking, skiing, cross country skiing. Swim in one of the indoor pools, outdoor pools or reservoirs.
Furthermore, you can in the Eifel still delicious and affordable food.
In the house is a comprehensive information pack with all the possibilities, like many leaflets, maps and plans.

The distance 's-Hertogenbosch-Lissendorf is 240 km.

Hello, since March 2013 we are the proud owners of a "Eifel house". We go every month with lots of fun with our kids (9 and 14) to my country. Here we come to rest from the cottage we walk in the woods, in the winter we sledding down the mountain and in the summer we go swimming in one of the lakes nearby. Basically, you can arrive on any day of the week.
You will be expected at 15.00 (600 meters away from the house) at the key address.
On the day of departure will give you the key to 11.00 again at the key address.
If you want to arrive earlier or later or depart this is in consultation.

Bed linen and towels should take.
On the 2-bed lie a 2-person mattress (90 x 2.00) and a 2-person duvet (2.00 x 2.00).
On the bunk are also a 2-person mattress (80 x 1.90) 1 and 2 duvets (1.40 x 2.00).

The Eifel is a very special part of Europe, with a rich history, which goes back millions of years. Of extinct volcanoes, remnants of the Romans, the typical half-timbered houses to the medieval castles, each period is to find something in the overwhelming nature of the Eifel.

Around Lissendorf is plenty to do, in many ways!

Sporty:

Just walk in the vast forests directly adjacent to the cottage. Or via the numerous hiking trails nearby or further afield such as the famous long distance walk the Eifelsteig (10 km away).
You can also excellent Nordic walking in the Eifel, cross country skiing, cycling and mountain biking are about the many cycling routes or just on our own. Or how about horse riding, golf and quad biking?
500 meters from the cottage are two artificial grass tennis courts where you can use. Tickets are available at the post office in the village (€ 6, - per hour)
You can swim in the indoor pools of Jünkerath (6 km), Stadtkyl (8 km), Gerolstein (10 km) and Prüm (23 km)
In summer you can swim in the outdoor pools Stadtkyl, Gerolstein and Prüm or in the reservoir of Jünkerath (6 km) or Kronenburg (15 km). In Jünkerath only a reservoir, there are no facilities but there is wonderfully quiet and you swim here really in the middle of nature! In the reservoir of Kronenburg is a bar / restaurant / toilets and stand in the water / are various play / climbing harness for hours of fun!
Fish can include a variety of places in the Gemündenermaar in Daun and the reservoir of Kronenbourg
Skiing, sledding and cross country skiing is located approximately 25 km to the ski area Oberes Kylltal, Wolfsschlucht in Prüm Mäuseberg and Ernstberg at Daun, and the larger ski area Schwarzer Mann at Prüm. Incidentally, you can also in the woods near the house cross-country skiing!

Blankenheim: Old city gates, ancient castle, the Ahrquelle; the source of the Ahr, an old well in the center.

Eifel Volcanic Field
The Eifel is the youngest volcano region of Germany. It is located in the south-east of the Eifel.Nergens in Germany finds so many mineral springs and volcanoes. 10,000 years ago, these volcanoes were active. Today you can still more than 240 volcanic cone and stumps, around 60 buts, lava flows, see springs and geysers in the Eifel.
The most impressive testimony of the volcanic activities are the water-filled buts. These are not craters but craters in the ground created by gasontploffingen. A real volcano crater lake is found in Manderscheid, the Mosenberg. This is the only crater lake Duitsland.Op not too far away are the Ahrensberg, by an old mine that leaves you out in the crater of this volcano In Daun there are the famous Maare from Germany!; the Dauner Maare. The volcanic past of the Eifel is presented in numerous information centers and museums. Eg in Steffeln are the Vulkangarten in Wallenborn a geyser in the museum Strohn Vulkanhaus etc.

In the cottage is a map with information on all the attractions and activities possibilities. Like several leaflets and booklets.

Alternatively, in the Eifel, very tasty and a lot cheaper than eating in the Netherlands.

The property is not suitable for wheelchair users. The door can only be achieved through a number of steps. There are two rungs between the living room and the kitchen.

The house has central heating in all rooms. In the living room there is also a lovely fireplace. The use of wood is included in the price. In the open garden shed you will find a large amount of firewood.
