Beautiful detached house with spacious garden in the outskirts of Lissendorf, bordering a vast forest with numerous hiking and mountain biking trails. In addition to a beautiful landscape, the area offers nice towns, cultural events and opportunities for sporting activities in summer and winter. It is an ideal place to unwind and enjoy nature, the rural atmosphere and traditional culture in the Eifel. And of course of warm summer evenings in the garden or cozy hours at the wood stove. The Eifel is an experience in every season!

THE HOUSE:
The house has a cozy living room with tiled floor, modern leather furniture, radio, flat screen TV and DVD player. The kitchen is accessible from the living room via a small step (with stair gate) and is equipped with a ceramic hob, fridge with freezer, oven-microwave, sense and coffee machine, kettle, toaster and mixer. There is also a spacious bedroom with twin beds (2 auping mesh bases) and a smaller bedroom with a single bed (0.80x1.90m), both with sufficient cupboard space. There is a small pantry and a shower room with sink, shower and toilet. The cottage is situated on a plot of 370 m2 of private land. There is a front and back garden with plenty of sun and shade and a private terrace on both sides.

AREA
The house is located on a quiet path with 7 detached houses on both sides, which are occupied very little throughout the year. In the forest area next to the park you can hike endlessly, mountain biking and even cross-country skiing in winter. The two tennis courts next to the park are for rent for visitors. A small supermarket, bakery, pharmacy, cafes and restaurants are within 1.5 km.

In the immediate vicinity there are several indoor and outdoor swimming pools and for water recreation you can go to the Kronenburger See and the Freilinger See. There are also many museums, wildlife parks and nice towns to visit: Kronenburg, Blankenheim, Bad Münstereifel, Bernkastel Kues, Altenahr, Monschau, Trier and Echternach.

Due to the high location (approx. 600 m) the area is also suitable for winter sports (beginners). The most famous winter sports areas (ski slopes, toboggan runs and trails) are "Schwarzer Mann" and "Wolfsschlucht" at Prüm and the "Mäuseberg" at Daun. In winter there are many cross-country skiing opportunities in the immediate vicinity. There are extensive cross-country skiing areas in the Obere Kylltal and in Blankenheim.

Additional information

Our cozy cottage situated on the edge of Lissendorf in a protected area and is an excellent location for an active or relaxing holiday. The detached house is a small and quiet park with no central facilities, adjacent to a large forest where many deer, wild boars, foxes and birds of prey live. Numerous marked walking, cycling and mountain biking trails lead from here into villages and towns in the area, making the park a unique starting point for walking and cycling. For anglers, the river Kyll an ideal spot. Tennis players, tennis courts next to the park rent per hour. In the immediate vicinity there are several swimming pools and recreational lakes. The area is also very suitable for winter winter sports like cross country skiing. In the house are even cross-country skis, poles and boots available.
Lissendorf lies on the border of the Schneifel and the Volcanic and is an ideal base for excursions to interesting towns and attractions in the Eifel. In this section you will find more facts about the environment and practical information about the accommodation.
The cottage is most suitable for up to 3 adults or a family with children under 12 years. The house is not suitable for wheelchair users, as the house from the road accessed via a ladder and also between the living room and kitchen afstapje located.

THE HOUSE
The detached stone house has an area of ??approximately 50 m2. All rooms are located on the ground floor.
The living room is equipped with modern leather furniture, a portable color TV / DVD, radio and tiled floor. Games, books, magazines and DVDs are available. Heating by means of CV and a cozy wood stove.
The kitchen is accessible from the living room through a small afstapje and is equipped with cooker with oven, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, mixer and blender. There is a large bedroom with 2-bed and one 1-bedroom with two single beds. There is a small utility room and a douchruimte with shower and toilet.
The house dates from 1984 and was renovated in 2004: good insulation, double glazing, new boiler and central heating.
The house sits on a plot of 370 m2 land. There is a front and backyard with enough sun and privacy and a private terrace on both sides.

LOCATION
The house is situated on a very quiet park in a protected area in the Vulkaneifel. The house is located on a quiet walkway lined with 7 detached villas, all year round by little busy. In the park itself there are no central facilities.
The park is located 1.5 km from Lissendorf with all necessary amenities (supermarket, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, banks, cafes and restaurants).
Lissendorf lies on the railway line Cologne-Trier. The park is approximately 2 km from the station.

ENVIRONMENT
There are many opportunities for hiking, cycling, mountain biking, Nordic walking, cross-country skiing. There is a tennis court next to the park.
In the area (indoor) swimming pools, recreational lakes, zoos / wildlife parks, museums and interesting towns. In Prüm are the ski areas "Wolfs" and "Schwarzer Mann" Daun is at the ski area "Mäuseberg".

The Eifel is located in the states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate about 1 hour drive from the Dutch border. Kylltal Cycle Path: The Kylltal Bike Trail runs from Dahlem to Trier. Kyll along the bike path meanders through different landscapes of the Eifel. You can see the route from the station Lissendorf begin in two directions.
Nims and Sauer, Prüm and Enztal Cycle Path: Four tours in the southern Eifel region along the rivers Nims, Sauer, Prüm and Enz in the German-Luxembourg nature.
Maaren-Moselle cycle path:
Cycle through the unique volcanic landscape of the Eifel to Moseldal. The Maaren-Moselle cycle path in both directions particularly suitable for recreational cyclists and families with children.

For all your groceries you can visit Lissendorf (1.5 km). Here is a small supermarket, bakery, butcher, pharmacy, florist, etc. For more extensive shopping is available in Jünkerath (5 km) a large shopping area including a Edeka, Aldi and Lidl. There are several restaurants in the village where you can eat. In Lissendorf you in Gaststätte "Zum Landsknecht" In the Hauptstrasse also bowling and ATV rentals.
In the old post office in the Hauptstrasse is now a nice cafe where you are located on Saturday and Sunday you can eat delicious homemade cakes (14.00-18.00).
Highly recommended is the "Historical Wassermühle" in Birgel (behind the station Lissendorf): a cozy restaurant with a nice terrace where typical regional dishes. In the weekends there is here such Feierabendbier, Frühschoppen and Schnitzel-Sonntag.
