NEW for rent in 2026! In recent years we have completely renovated Villa Brachfeld into an energy efficiency house. In addition, the house has been completely redecorated and new kitchens have been installed. We are very proud of the result and hope that our guests enjoy it too! 

Villa Brachfeld is a lovely house with plenty of space both inside and outside and fully equipped. Located in Hellenthal, the gateway to the Eifel National Park and within walking distance of the center.

Villa Brachfeld consists of three separate apartments ("Penthouse Brachfeld" on the top floor, "Ferienwohnung Brachfeld" on the middle floor) and a smaller apartment on the lower floor.

The apartments are laid out in such a way that there is as much privacy as possible for everyone, both inside and outside.

"Penthouse Brachfeld" and "Ferienwohnung Brachfeld" are rented out as holiday apartments and the smaller apartment on the lower floor is rented furnished for a longer period of time.

Villa Brachfeld is located in Hellenthal, within walking distance of the center, in a quiet street. Hellenthal is located at the gateway to the beautiful Eifel National Park. The house has a central location and you can cycle and walk directly from the house. Many other activities in the immediate vicinity. The apartments are completely newly furnished (including new kitchens) and fully equipped. There's free WiFi and a Smart TV (and the ability to stream from your phone/tablet, so watch everything you're used to at home or log in to the apps from Netflix, Disney+ etc.). There is free parking (including an indoor garage). There is an 11KW charging station for electric cars. Guests can make use of this for a fee.

"Penthouse Brachfeld" (top floor, approximately 115 m2 and for up to 4 people) has a large cozy living room with living / sitting area and wood stove, dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. There are 2 spacious bedrooms (with double beds), a bathroom with spacious shower and toilet. In the hall an extra guest toilet and a room with washing machine / dryer. Finally, there is a separate storage room. It is a wonderfully spacious apartment. There is a spacious south-facing balcony and an extra seating and dining area on the other side of the house. There is plenty of outdoor furniture, parasol and Weber BBQ available. There is a parking space in front of the house and a separate entrance to the apartment.

"Ferienwohnung Brachfeld" (middle floor, approximately 130 m2 and for up to 4 adults + 2 children) has a cozy living room with wood stove, separate dining room with large dining table. Large fully equipped kitchen. Spacious hall and 3 large bedrooms (2 with double bed and 1 with 2 single beds), a bathroom with shower and toilet. Additional guest toilet. From the dining room and the hall there is access to the spacious terrace with dining table, relax chairs, Weber BBQ etc. The large garden above with several seating areas, trampoline etc. is also part of this apartment. On the ground floor there is a separate laundry room with washer/dryer. There is a parking space in front of the house and the indoor garage belongs to this apartment.

Because both apartments are completely separate both inside and outside and that we also like to let our guests enjoy the beautiful surroundings, but also do not disturb the immediate surroundings, it is not possible to rent both apartments at the same time as 1 group.

Villa Brachfeld is located in Hellenthal, within walking distance and less than 700 meters from the center. There are several restaurants and supermarket including a large new Aldi just 900 metres away.

In spring, thousands of wild daffodils bloom in Hollerath. In winter, you can enjoy the Weisser Stein winter sports area in Udenbreth. You can walk and cycle directly from the house. Several walking routes run past our house and after less than 100 meters you walk from the dead end street into nature. The Olefthalsperre is about 1.5 kilometres away. A 13.5 kilometer long walking and cycling route runs around this beautiful reservoir which continues to the Belgian border. You will find several hiking and biking trails on the site of the municipality of Hellenthal. The Wildfreigehege a few minutes' drive away and also easily accessible via a hiking trail, offers a beautiful setting with the famous bird of prey/owl show, many other animals and a playground.

There is much to discover and do in the area. A visit to Aachen, Cologne, Bonn, Koblenz, Trier and Maastricht are highly recommended. All cities can be reached in an hour to an hour and a half by car. Or visit the wine regions of the Ahrthal or the Moselle. Other tips: Monschau, Blankenheim and Bad Münstereifel (beautiful half-timbered villages), Nürburgring, Phantasialand, Rursee, Kronenburger See, Kyllradweg and Vennbahn.
