Maison Violette

A holiday with us is a holiday without children. We only receive adult guests.

Maison Violette is a centuries-old house, full of atmosphere and character. The thick stone walls keep the house nice and cool in the summer and heated in the winter. The house is tastefully and cosily furnished and decorated. The houses of that time were not as practical as they are now and this is reflected in the height of the front door and doorway between the living room and bedroom. These are only 1.80 m high. For the rest, the house of course meets all modern requirements.
Completely on the ground floor, except for two steps to the kitchen/bathroom/toilet and several steps outside in front of the terrace and the front door.
The view from the living room, bedroom and terrace is oriented to the south, on a beautiful valley.

Living room
You enter the cozy living room with a spacious two-seater sofa and an armchair. In this room there is also a dining table with chairs and there is plenty of closet space.
You have access to a flat screen TV with USB and HDMI connection. No TV channels. There are also a lot of Dutch and English books.

Kitchen
There is a passage to the kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with a table top fridge and separate freezer. There is also a kettle, microwave, coffee maker and gas hob. Of course, the cupboards are equipped with all inventory and kitchen linen is also provided.

Bathroom
The bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower, a washbasin and storage cupboard. Towels and pool towels are also provided.

Bedroom
The bedroom has a double bed (160 x 200) with bedside tables. This room also has a chair, a chest of drawers and a wardrobe.

Outside
In front of the house is a spacious terrace with many plants and flowers. A dining table with chairs is ready to enjoy a nice meal outside. Two reclining chairs with a second dining table and a parasol are provided. Your terrace is separated from our terrace by means of planters and trellises.
There is a second terrace (grass) available for you, where you can sit in the shade of some trees if it might be too hot. Here you can enjoy the relaxing fauteauils with a beautiful view of the greenery. 
You can park in front of the house. No traffic passes by, except for the postman in the morning.

Arrival and departure times
On the day of arrival you are welcome between 15:00 and 19:00. You leave before 10:00 in the morning.

General
We, the owners, live in the house next door and are available if you need anything. The swimming pool is located behind the house on the campsite, as well as the accueil where all our tourist information is located, including maps with walking and cycling routes.

In the campsite sanitary facilities you will find the washing machine, which can be used free of charge twice a week for you as a resident of Maison Violette. After that, the camping rate applies.
Pets are not allowed. Our cats do roam around here.
Of course, any smokers do this outside!
All linen is included (beds made on arrival, towels, shower towels, shower mats and a pool towel per person).

Maximum length of stay is 7 nights. A longer stay is only allowed on request. This should be communicated with the owner/landlord.
