Le Grand Paradis

Gareoult (6,000 inhabitants) is situated on a plain at 300 m altitude, where Issole flows. Gareoult is a lively village with new housing estates around the old core. North are multiple sources and the village is surrounded by 500 hectares of vineyards and 700 hectares of forest and bushes. The area is hilly. This is the heart of the Var, between the Sainte Baume and Esterel mountains, the plains des Maures, fertile valleys, forests and red rocks with tranquil villages that are stewing in the sun. Pure nature and tranquility, yet only a few dozen kilometers from the Mediterranean Sea.

The villa is ideal for a half an hour you can reach the beaches of the Mediterranean.
Visit the bustling port city of Toulon (35 km) with the weekly market and then take the boat to the green island of Ile de Porquerolles. There are several hiking and biking trails on this beautiful island. Everywhere you can smell the scent of mimosa and delicious Provencal herbs. Nature is beautiful here. The island is only 7 miles long and 3 miles wide, so an idyllic bay to cool off is always near.

The next day you do the children (and perhaps you yourself) a favor and visit the adventure park in Meounes (8 km) where they can climb, rock climbing and float to the cable cars, and another day you choose for the fun park OK Corral in Cuges-les-Pins (34 km). 18-hole golf course in Brignoles (16 km). Tennis court, restaurant, bakery and groceries in Garéoult.

Gorges du Verdon, the so-called French Grand Canyon, a deep gorge that ends in the lake "Lac de Sainte-Croix"
where one can walk, canoeing and swimming.

Walking and cycling, whether or not in the mountains (immediate area, see hiking maps in the home library much GR paths)

Centre Commercial, large variety of shops (25 minutes towards Toulon, exit \\ la Bigué, Valette du Var) ZARA,
