On the edge of the attractive Provencal village of Le Thoronet is our detached holiday home with a spacious garden and a large private swimming pool. The house offers a lot of peace and privacy, while the bakery, butcher and small supermarket of the village are about one kilometer away.
The house is comfortably furnished and suitable for couples and families from two to a maximum of six people. There are four bedrooms, each with a double bed (two of which have air conditioning). Furthermore, the house has a bathroom with walk-in shower and a living room with air conditioning, television with Dutch and French channels and fast fiber optic internet.
You can laze by the pool, discover local wines and visit Provençal villages and markets. The house is also an excellent base for activities, sights and a day at the coast.
Outdoor living and private pool
The garden is approximately 1,600 m2 in size and is surrounded by pine hedges and oleanders, which offer a lot of privacy. The site is closed with a high automatic entrance gate and offers enough space to park several cars.
From the terrace you have an unobstructed view over the Provencal hilly landscape. There are sunbeds on the terrace and there is a gas barbecue. Spread throughout the garden you will find several seating areas with tables and chairs, so that there is a nice spot at any time of the day.
The private swimming pool is 10 by 5 meters in size. Via a staircase you walk into the shallow part of about 85cm deep. The pool slopes down to a depth of approximately 2 meters. Thanks to the pool lighting, you can also swim in the evening. There is also an outdoor shower.
Quiet location, but easily accessible
Its location combines peace and privacy with the convenience of amenities nearby. The house is accessible via easily accessible roads and is located on the edge of the village. About one kilometer away you will find a good bakery and butcher and a small supermarket for daily shopping.
In summer, the local pétanque court is a friendly meeting place, where young and old come together.
In the area you will find wine estates, Provencal markets and atmospheric villages. There are also all kinds of activities available, such as mountain biking, canoeing and a visit to a water park with a course and large slides. Seaside resorts such as Saint-Tropez, Cannes and Fréjus are less than an hour's drive away.
The house is therefore a wonderful place to quietly enjoy the house, garden and swimming pool, but also an ideal base for all kinds of activities and sights.
Good to know
- The minimum rental period is two weeks.
- The fixed changeover day is Sunday (arrival 16:00, departure no later than 10:00).
- The mandatory final cleaning costs € 120.
- The house can accommodate up to six people. The stated rental price is based on a stay with a maximum of four adults. A stay with more than four adults is only possible in consultation. There is a surcharge of € 100 per extra adult per week.
- The house and grounds are not wheelchair accessible.
