The nearest village of Planchez is 7 km away and has a good butcher and bakery. In Anost, about 12 km away, you will find a delicious bakery, butcher and supermarket. Larger places to visit are Autun (with a nice market on Friday morning, 25 min.), Chateau Chinon (20 min.), Saulieu (beautiful old town with delicious restaurants, 30 min.), Beaune (with its many wines, one and a half hours), Vezelay (with a beautiful abbey, 1 hour). Nearby there are two large lakes, Lac des Settons (15 min) and Lac de Panneciere (25 min) where you can swim.
