The bedroom offers a peaceful area to rest and unwind after a day enjoying the local area. The bathroom has both a bath and a shower and is airy and spacious. There is an outdoor space to enjoy the peace and serenity of the area with a glass of the wine or a cup of coffee. The property is situated halfway up a hill,10 minutes walking takes you into the countryside or the town.

Mortain is a small Norman town with traditional bakeries,bars and local amenities.It is surrounded by beautiful scenery offering the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. Mortain is 90 minutes from the historic D-Day landing beaches and other WW2 places,however,it is also 90 minutes to Bayeux and 60 minutes to the beach at Granville and the Christian Dior museum. If walking is what you enjoy,then are numerous walks around the town and the countryside.

The Grandes and Petites Cascades are some of the most spectacular waterfalls in France and definitely worth a visit. La Petite Chapelle is a walk that at the end of,(on a clear day) you can see Mont St Michel,40kms away!This area is also the commeration site for the Battle of Mortain in 1944 which was instrumental in the Battle for Normandy.
